    @santanderuk have rejected the request to switch, saying my account is blocked. They finally answered their phone and (after 40 mins on the call) said they’d unblocked it. But bank card still not working. I feel like my account is being held hostage Avoid Santander if you can

  • DeborahParr Deborah Parr (@DeborahParr) reported

    @MorganBroadcast I’m a @santanderuk customer and this terrifies me.

    @PaulTinhat @MorganBroadcast Wow how callous. You obviously haven’t read it through properly have you. Her point is Santanderuk are accusing her of sharing/writing down her PIN when she hasn’t done anything of the sort. That’s her point!

  • Arad1el Joseph Dowland (@Arad1el) reported

    @MorganBroadcast I'm a mobile banking customer of @santanderuk , and the view pin "feature" seems to be a terrible idea

  • mags_louise Mags (@mags_louise) reported

    @krissysbooked @santanderuk It's not just Santander after reading Charlotte's thread I checked my Barclays app & I can get access to my pin if I fill in the correct details, which is very worrying if my card & phone are ever stolen together. Esp considering how easy it was for the thief in Charlotte's case

  • PenAmity Cal-Amity-Pen RIP sweet boy... (@PenAmity) reported

    @MorganBroadcast @NeilMackay78 @santanderuk Yes, they do happen too often...Someone broke into my home few years back and stole chequebook, silly I kept in a draw as though they were obsolete. The bank helped this Girl sign in right place then handed her my money. I lost trying to sue bank said my negligence :o

  • daisybruni Daisy Bruni (@daisybruni) reported

    @archer_rs @santanderuk The gym @VirginActiveUK seems to have had a security breach, but the bank enabled the fraud by making the PIN available on a stolen phone, calling that phone after they'd been notified and then transferring funds from a savings account and blaming the customer 😱

  • VenousRising Legion (@VenousRising) reported

    @MoorgateMermaid @santanderuk Access to gym/lockers/phone ... seems like someone with "history" at the location. 🤔

  • Sabin68635299 Sabin (@Sabin68635299) reported

    @santanderuk over 1h Phone call Waiting to pay a settlement figure, still no answer. Trying to pay online - doesn’t work. Waiting for over 30 min on website live chat, still waiting. The CHAPS details your provided are not recognised by the bank. This is absolutely insane!

  • PedalPlodder Dawn-Pedalplodder (@PedalPlodder) reported

    @PeterDbrash @MorganBroadcast As a long term @santanderuk customer, I'm extremely concerned about this! Especially as simply transferring the stolen phone's SIM card to another phone gets around the phone security.
