No reply so posted a formal complaint as they don't seem to do online for this type of issue. Phoning is hopeless. No reply. Seems they are dealing with it by simply ignoring me. After weeks of frustration and no sight of the money, I'm disgusted this clerk bragged about 'have been doing this all week' Today the error was rectified.

AP (@andyparsons3) reported@santanderuk I have zero faith or trust that anyone will be in contact, I suspect I’ll be proven right - for 2 days you’ve blocked all my banking access so that you can do extra checks for a low value payment and not told be what’s going on - appalling service

Sohail (@sohailnaeem2) reported@santanderukhelp @santanderuk I went to Santander high street branch and the customer service person said the only proof of ID accepted is passport or driving licence. Santander is excluding a section of community who do not fly and do not drive. Many pensioners & neurodiversed!
