You are losing a customer in real time here @santanderuk—in a phone queue for 45 mins waiting for the CHAPS team only to end up talking to Vodafone voicemail. There are no words to describe this level of lack of service for something this important.

  • conorgsmyth Conor G. Smyth (@conorgsmyth) reported

@santanderuk have to admit that your customer service/support is pathetic. Yes, accept cyber security is a challenge, but if your systems/ algorithms are going to deny account access ensure online support is timely/accessible. 75 min wait, 4 staff & cut offs are not acceptable!

  • jamesr_pcw James Robinson (@jamesr_pcw) reported

Shocking customer service @santanderuk three calls 230 minutes of life wasted and no answer. Sort it out

It was (1), I had to hang up on you @santanderuk after a multi-hour marathon of being utterly and completely let down in my desire to use your bank to make an important payment. I am beyond furious.

@MorganBroadcast I have just read your thread. This is a nightmare, I truly hope that @santanderuk act now!!! They have failed to take action and then compounded their failures by calling you on your stolen mobile. (WTF) I’m so sorry you are having to deal with this! 🥲

@bld2013 @santanderuk Not sure I have much sympathy. How did they get into her phone in the first place? No PIN or fingerprint required? If I want to see a PIN in a banking app then my fingerprint and/or an access code is needed at three different stages. Seems negligent to me.
