rhoda roberts (@adhorstrebor) reported@sharrond62 I just had to tussle with @santanderuk when my 74 year cousin had huge problems downloading their app. After hours and hours of trying and battling AI for him, he was told to go to branch (50mile roundtrip)😬eventually got £200 compensation but I still had to take him 🤬🤬🤬

Edward Terry (@iamedterry) reported@santanderuk I think you should review that. When they take 8+ hours to respond, then tell you they’re multitasking so might not respond immediately, but expect you to drop everything in your life to respond is a bit unreasonable. My experience = chat support is a waste of time.

Sohail (@sohailnaeem2) reported@santanderukhelp @santanderuk I went to Santander high street branch and the customer service person said the only proof of ID accepted is passport or driving licence. Santander is excluding a section of community who do not fly and do not drive. Many pensioners & neurodiversed!
-
Sandi (@Limaratoo) reported@santanderuk Which will cost me a fortune! Don’t worry, I’ll find another way. Looks like I’ll have to as your chat is down on the website and I can’t message you here! I guess you can’t message me either?
-
Ilikefilmme (@Ilikefilmme) reported@santanderuk Can you please furnish me with a direct number or email address 4 the vulnerable customer team please as 1 of your staff members insisted on asking my dying mother 2 tell her the last payments she made as a security check even though she was itold thats not possible
-
Shirley (@SJacks61) reportedMy husband died. The administration is difficult at the best of times (and these are my worst of time) but @santanderuk has been superb and @HSBC_UK absolutely awful - they could learn so much from Santander.
-
AK (@ghatispeaks) reported@ClareWiener @santanderuk Agree. . Terrible service. Time to move to first direct
-
Chezzy Rezzy (@ChezzyRezzy) reported@santanderuk No thanks. I'll just look into switching my account to a bank that actually gives a ****.
-
jo (@5arstudent) reported@santanderuk Zero. That’s the concerning thing. I have repeatedly asked your customer service team who have no even referred me on to the relevant department - one lady just said the department is called “the back office” I have 2 children under 8

AP (@andyparsons3) reported@santanderuk that’s almost 2 full days of you blocking access to a bank account I pay to use and still no updates, I’ve emailed you and you have responded. It’s clearly too much effort for you
