@MorganBroadcast I hope it gets sorted today. Thank you for highlighting this issue, I had no idea that the app revealed pin numbers. I would love @santanderuk to explain why it's so easily available when we have been told for years that nobody can access it, not even staff.

@MorganBroadcast If they managed to get through to your Santander app they can get your pin from there. The blame obviously lies with them and I’m sorry that they have been so incredibly ****. @santanderuk seriously reconsidering you as my banking and mortgage provider after hearing this

@BenRigbyJourno I'm sure she will given the apparent abundance of errors by the bank. I'm not surprised by her account having once been a customer of @santanderuk. Their approach to telephone banking security was always shockingly lax and left customers wide open to fraudsters.

@PeterDbrash @MorganBroadcast As a long term @santanderuk customer, I'm extremely concerned about this! Especially as simply transferring the stolen phone's SIM card to another phone gets around the phone security.

@MorganBroadcast @santanderuk @santanderukhelp I am a Santander customer and your awful experience has really shaken me. I didn’t know debit cards are not covered for fraud and am shocked to hear that the thieves were also able to transfer money from your savings accounts into your current.

@GreenwichOMRLP @santanderuk If it’s that easy then the banks should issue a warning.. they are accountable, it’s disgusting really is!

@MorganBroadcast @santanderuk @VirginActiveUK I read the tweet about Santander not having a double log in yet they have phone apps. That makes it very unsecure if a phone is hacked, which they know. Yes defo get legal advice. They are blaming you because there systems are not up to standard from the look of it.
