@santanderuk Zero. That’s the concerning thing. I have repeatedly asked your customer service team who have no even referred me on to the relevant department - one lady just said the department is called “the back office” I have 2 children under 8

@santanderuk Put the phone down. 1hr plus wait isn’t acceptable. No problem plenty of other banks.

@santanderuk I was expecting that response, and I get to pay for the poor service too with a monthly fee yay!

@santanderuk Thanks for responding, but I've already used that tool. The issue itself is with capturing the photo of the cheque. No matter what angle, light or background, your app won't complete the process. Awful. Just awful. 👍

@ColinCyclone @santanderuk @santanderukhelp Oh wow - so that customer service was entirely wrong too?! 😫😫

@santanderuk Why is your chat service not transferring me to a human agent? What is the problem

@mturner1961 @santanderuk My 94 year old grandmother got the exact same thing. She no longer had a driving licence or passport so ultimately had to switch because Santander had restricted access. And she had the account for years and never had she been asked for this.

My husband died. The administration is difficult at the best of times (and these are my worst of time) but @santanderuk has been superb and @HSBC_UK absolutely awful - they could learn so much from Santander.
