@santanderuk I had an account with you for near 30 years, 100s of thousands pounds went through my account, because I was away from the uk for 5 years you closed it. I'm now having difficulty in trying to reopen another account. I don't have any current DDs to show address. Help.

@Lee_Suffolk @santanderuk Yep, they also withdrew an additional payment (even after they told me this wouldn't happen) and haven't returned it. It's been over 2 weeks. Apparently their "back office" is working on it.

@santanderuk your customer service is shambolic. I have a new debit card I cannot use and cannot get through to anyone. I literally cannot buy anything as your banks are also shut.

…and mobile banking/app ‘ease’ (40%). I can’t speak for @santanderuk but I can’t believe *anyone* would switch to @HSBC_UK for any of those reasons. Their app is dire, customer service mediocre and online banking bare bones.

@santanderuk They ask for ID, I sent. Ask for proof of address, I sent. Now they want visa?? Why not ask for everything at once?? 3 letters I have sent and is not enough?? For a current client?? And on the branches they give no help?? Is @santanderuk deliberately trying to make things hard??

@santanderukhelp 1/4 Hey @santanderuk , I have banked with you for over 25 years. If I remember right I have never defaulted on any loans, mortgage or DDs …..Ever! In 2022 you you blocked access twice for absolutely no reason at all, causing me many issues.

@ExpediaUK @santanderuk @ExpediaHelp I do that and get the usual ‘you don’t have a booking with us’. Show them all the previous correspondence showing the issue and am told ‘go to your bank’.

@santanderuk thank you for NOT giving me the £175 bank switch money that I signed up for. 2 customer service agents, one in December and one 2 weeks ago said everything was in place & confirmed money would be in my account. Now you say I'm not entitled to it. Appalling

@santanderuk lack of urgency in dealing with mortgages is awful and dealing with what on the face of it is a pretty minor issue, taking a week to send a "thanks for the message reply we'll reply soon" there's now just a month before the mortgage offer expires 🤦🏻

@MartinSLewis you need to sort your website out if you're putting links to bank switches that are out of date by 2 days. False advertising. @santanderuk you need to do the right thing and increase your compensation to £175 this is your employees error tellinge all was in place
