The @VodafoneGroup issue of failing to cancel accounts that @GeorgeMonbiot experienced with an impenetrable complaints service is also mirrored by @TalkTalk who simply will not cancel a broadband account despite 40+ communications. Rinsing customers is a common tactic.

@TalkTalk You guys have the most horrific customer service. I am moving house and trying to cancel my contract. I've spent 4 hours on the phone and eventually someone promised me it was cancelled. I just received an email saying someone is going to come around and upgrade me!!!

Big companies who are very quick to respond to tweets; maybe get the f*ck off the keyboard and get more staff on the frontline sorting out customers’ problems. Call me a dinosaur. Just a thought, like. #TalkTalk
