@TSB I’m trying to approve payments on my app and this is not working , can it be looked at

  • guinness1968 Graeme Innes 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 (@guinness1968) reported

@kristinacimova @TSB TSB reluctant to advise that there is a major issue with ‘Approve Payment’ feature on the app. Instead they’ll ask for more information, for your device, operating system, what app version. They’ll ask you to uninstall / reinstall…blah, blah…. It’s a TSB issue.

  • WaiWai6875 WaiLee (@WaiWai6875) reported

@TSB the approve payment function doesn’t work, is there an issue with the app? My iPhone software is up to date.

  • Herm_inator Hermes Carlyon (@Herm_inator) reported

@TSB Oh, and if the approval button in the app is working you still have to enter an online password. Trying to buy something for 20 quid and there’s more security than Fort Knox. TSB you really suck.

  • Herm_inator Hermes Carlyon (@Herm_inator) reported

@TSB Step 1 try and make payment with own money. Step 2 be told to open TSB app to approve payment. Step 3 try to log into app but have to enter code to gain access. Step 4 gain access but then approval button doesn’t work. Step 5 abort payment. Step 6 change banks.

  • JamesWebsterITV James Webster (@JamesWebsterITV) reported

Hi @TSB - Are any of your systems ever fit for purpose? Why does the "approve payment" button in your app not work? It makes it impossible to make payments online?

  • davemac1976 davemac1976 (@davemac1976) reported

@TSB The fact I also have to wait for an access code to be texted to me before I can even access my account just adds to the annoyance. Is there anyway of opting out of this?

  • mtthwrly Matthew (@mtthwrly) reported

@TSB Had a few suspicious texts and a call this morning - tried to change my password on your site and it says service unavailable?

  • sarannej Floweroscotland (@sarannej) reported

@TSB Still nothing. Same problem with a frozen button.

  • parker_cheyne Christine (@parker_cheyne) reported

@TSB I am@unable to approve payments on the app, has been like this for a few days and then wasn’t able to chat online as service wasn’t in operation at the time! Had to transfer to bank account with another bank to then authorise the payment from there
