@virginmedia Ah, I thought the VM network was piggybacking on o2. Thanks for confirming the prices!

  • Marduhk Neil B (@Marduhk) reported from Carlisle, England

@virginmedia I’ve been trying to call customer services (0345 454 1111) for the past couple of but can never get through - the line just goes dead, tried from two mobiles and work landline. Is there any other way to contact them? I need the account cancellation team.

  • realsqueegie Jason Munn (@realsqueegie) reported from Carlisle, England

@virginmedia You really are missing the point. This is the second time that there is a problem with the landline. A lengthy and £charged phone call to @virginmedia solved this (taking) over a number of days only for it to happen again. This is @virginmedia’s problem. Take ownership.

  • realsqueegie Jason Munn (@realsqueegie) reported from Carlisle, England

@virginmedia Thank you for replying. But the point is being missed. To get customer service from @virginmedia is a costly phone call. The last one cost over £5 and the problem was only briefly resolved. Paying customers should not be charged for problems that are caused by the supplier.

  • ebbGreg Greg Corbett (@ebbGreg) reported from Carlisle, England

@virginmedia Always love seeing the responses to your promoted tweets, they never seem to go down well. Even trying to distract people with Charlotte big jugs didn't work!

  • TheWilldern Neil B (@TheWilldern) reported from Carlisle, England

@virginmedia Do you know if your current upgrade prices are inclusive of the annual price increase from March 1st and if I upgrade with a mobile plan am I getting access to @O2 or your piggyback’d Virgin Media mobile network? the reason why I ask is that I need eSIM support.

  • Integrity_Steve Stephen Whelan (@Integrity_Steve) reported from Carlisle, England

@virginmedia So you clearly know it takes 10 days then why send out bullying automated emails only 14 days after I received the package to send it back in. The reason I’m no longer with @virginmedia is the hopeless customer service

  • 22craftsman The Whisky Reiver.. (@22craftsman) reported from Carlisle, England

@virginmedia Not been with you for years due to the very poor levels of service.

  • CooperDowell ᴄᴏᴏᴘᴇʀ 🚀 (@CooperDowell) reported from Carlisle, England

What an absolute waste of time @bt_uk are. I called to try & reduce my monthly bill & the man on the phone said he could help save me money by offering me a mobile ******* sim card for less than my current mobile bill... Virgin Media here I come.

  • danmatthews Daniel Matthews ⚡️ (@danmatthews) reported from Carlisle, England

@seb_ly @virginmedia Another company that doesn’t understand the difference between service and sales.

  • danmas0n Dan Mason (@danmas0n) reported from Carlisle, England

@virginmedia Thanks for this. Looks like there’s a coverage problem in our area so registered loss of service. Looks like we should be sorted later today.

  • realsqueegie Jason Munn (@realsqueegie) reported from Carlisle, England

@virginmedia Shocking service. My mother has had no landline for several weeks now. An engineer installed an adaptor to connect to the router, it has failed. The only way for her to contact your customer services is an 0345 number on her mobile. This is not good enough. #NotGood

  • Marduhk Neil B (@Marduhk) reported from Carlisle, England

@Monza972 @virginmedia This is usually what happens when you fill a support centre with sales agents. You just need to stick that Hub into modem mode and use a separate router - you won’t ever look back.

  • Marduhk Neil B (@Marduhk) reported from Carlisle, England

Virgin Media has been up and down tonight more often than a ****** knickers.

  • FionaFimullen40 FIONA MULLEN ( HOWE) (@FionaFimullen40) reported from Carlisle, England

What a shame been in touch with virgin my mobile to ask if they wanted to help me contribute to my bill as volunteering . Still not got back to me I'll pay the bill and had family offering bless them big company like that. Well @virginmedia 🤣

  • Marduhk Neil B (@Marduhk) reported from Carlisle, England

@virginmedia I understand it’s down speeds which look great on advertising but up speeds are just as important and 6MB/s up on a 100MB/s connection isn’t good enough. That’s just the way your network has been setup and there isn’t anything which can immediately be done about it.

  • OutofHoursPest3 Out of Hours Pest Control (@OutofHoursPest3) reported

@virginmedia I call every day, get sane answers, many advisers say they will call me back, never once have u called. Becoming a joke now, tried 2 cancel contract and told its £220 wtf for no services

  • daviespaul Paul D (@daviespaul) reported

@virginmedia why am I getting less than 2mb when I pay for 500? I've followed troubleshooting and no change. I do not want to have to call your world famously terrible customer service line

  • Marksollis1 mark sollis🖖 (@Marksollis1) reported

@virginmedia come on not again da17 no service again 2 days on the trot what's going on

  • carltw1981 Carl (@carltw1981) reported

@virginmedia I was told that I would receive a REFUND of £9 on my bill yesterday, the email I received today is a REDUCTION of £9 that is £140+ difference, this is not acceptable, I had to cancel my contract with you due to the agent is spoke to not understanding me needs

  • EmmaVarney2 Making Friends With Dragons (@EmmaVarney2) reported

@virginmedia Internet dropped out again, lost track of how many times it's happened this week. Why am I paying for a service that doesn't work?!

  • CookieFM_ Cookie FM (@CookieFM_) reported

@Ethaneus @virginmedia Yeah same here. On phone it says there’s a known issue and they’re dealing with it. But when checking online I have to book an engineer appointment. Absolute shambles. Think I’m going to leave them after this.

  • kazastan999 Karen (@kazastan999) reported

@virginmedia any issues in Stevenage area. Web says no but I beg to differ!

  • MonikaParker10 Monika Parker (@MonikaParker10) reported

@Dazed_Confus3d Pretty comparable! Once we had to shout at the Virgin Media people reminding them that they send their people to the bloody Mars, yet, it takes them ages to send their staff to their customers’ houses around London to fix things!

  • MrsDodgers888 Dodgers888 (@MrsDodgers888) reported

@virginmedia I am so fed up with contacting your customer service; I cancelled my contract with you in December 2021 and I have just got amyet another bill for home phone package / I have a dead land line - how many times do I have to complain? ??
