@virginmedia my dad is a pensioner who has had no TV service for more than a month. We have called numerous times and not had resolution. Can someone please contact me to help sort this out

@virginmedia He has called a few times and I called once. They say there is an issue in the area. He's been without service since July and they said the issue would be resolved on 21st aug. ive been away and it's still not fixed. It looks like an issue with the box to me as a layman

@virginmedia No reply on the instant chat but got an engineer coming tomorrow. The 5th engineer in 6 weeks. I do I go about compensation for this past 6 weeks of poor service? We’ll have been 10 days without connectivity. A child needing to do school wor and 2 adults wfh, it’s not good enough

@virginmedia this is getting silly. My internet is clearly fine locally but your network is rubbish! I know these are challenging times but there clearly are issues with broadband during the day. And they are with you, not the customer. Are you unable to cope with the demand?

@virginmedia This just takes me to the online support which I have been through, then then say they can’t sort the issue and need to call then I go back round in circles again. This suggestion is of be help. I consider you to be in breach of contract as you are not supplying what I pay for!

@Sharpy_G @virginmedia Wow! As I understand it, if you complain to the CISAS/ODR there are various fees associated with that for Virgin Media (around £400), so if everyone who they refuse to provide customer service to follows that route then they will be forced to improve their customer service.

@virginmedia Email to Exec team, auto acknowledged 11 Dec, confirmed receipt and allocated complaint ref 13 Dec. Further emails sent chasing and adding info (in reply to this complaint) 31 Dec, 10 Jan, 13 Jan.... unacceptable really!
