Why do broadband providers give us tech that isn't up to the job? The BT super hub 2 and Virgin media routers are absolutely rubbish and the only way to get a decent service is to buy extra tech to make them work better. I've just answered my own question here haven't I?

@BBCWatchdog @Ofcom Hey @virginmedia, been waiting over a week for a TV box to be delivered following a contract upgrade. Tried online chat after talking to 6 people, apparently our order was never placed but we have a confirmation email? Do you not value loyal customers?

@virginmedia Nothing they haven’t found our missing payment, they can’t tell us why the money keeps going missing, and all we got was “ummmmm yeah sorry”. We have put in a complaint because this continues to happen and we have asked for compensation.

It's amazing the fine margins in life. After many years I decided I may switch to @virginmedia for my phone and broadband but since their site constantly takes me to an up-selling page followed by an error and phone number I'm just staying with Sky - bad websites lose my custom!

The service received as an existing customer by @virginmedia is disgusting. They put their prices up and up & the service gets worse. Our bill has doubled in price after our contract ran out. Our box doesn’t work properly & I have spent hours trying to get it sorted to no avail

@MathsTeacherKYP @virginmedia I should add that Virgin tried to catch us out with an ancient router. The business practises of some companies is poor and I think we may move as a result.
