@CllrCarolineRav @virginmedia Hey @virginmedia if you could connect into the BT Openreach network you could use their broadband to alert you when there is a door left open etc. Works great for me. Ask Ring or one of the £2 IOT suppliers to sort you out. Then you could call yourself an internet company!

@virginmedia my mum is in her 80’s, moved from Sky to VM 2 weeks ago & has had nothing but problems. She does not have a smart phone & there’s no wifi code to connect her v old iPad, which is how she contacts family & friends. The remote does not work & won’t reset. Beyond awful!

@virginmedia I don’t no issues, but I don’t expect them every couple of weeks. I *do* expect accurate information on your “service” checker. Can you tell me why the service is showing as ok in the M9 area when I’ve been told there’s a fault

@virginmedia 2nd time my wifi isn’t working within a month. Service checker says all is well. I ring up. When I finally get through, told there’s a fault in my area. I asked to raise a complaint & the customer service rep says the system is down! I regret switching to virgin

@virginmedia Hello, Alisha - just to update on my mother's situation. She got a text to say she an engineer would visit next Wednesday (not very priority!). She then got another to say the visit was on hold,as they were looking into a local lines issue. She's still without a phone.
