I've just spent 6 hours enduring hypocritical and downright stupid WhatsApp messages from @virginmedia as I searched for something cheaper than my £700 a year package. I gather there is 'unprecedented demand' to speak to the 'cancellation team'. Cancelled anyway.

@virginmedia I've spent all day on a WhatsApp conversation waiting 45+minutes for replies from your end, I didn't reply in 4 minutes and the conversation was ended and I now have to start again. As ever your customer service leaves a lot to be desired

@virginmedia never experienced a more incompetent company before. Unable to activate your broadband. Been trying to sort all day on phone and via meaage since 11.20. But as yet the 6 different people I have spoken to havent resolved the problem. Unbelievable.
