@virginmedia I did write to you but your complaints dept said I could not cancel by letter due to security issues! Weird as on your website it stated you could cancel by letter!

When you get your price increase letter from VirginMedia, just call 0800 052 2001, hit the option for cancel and you’ll be given option to have a discount to match the increase, just by pressing “1”, don’t even have to talk to anyone. Really.

@virginmedia my mum has been on the phone to you for 1hr trying to cancel her service. She’s in her 70’s and has spent the last 15 mins with an advisor who has left her waiting in silence while he ‘calculates her bill’. Shocking customer service making it difficult to leave.

@virginmedia No she’s just text to say she’s hung up after 1.5hrs. Your agent told her he was just goi g to calculate her final bill and didn’t return. She hung up after 30mins of silence after 50mins to get through and 10mins of sales patter. Awful service. She needs to cancel.

@virginmedia so day 2 of no services , tell me why I cannot speak to a real person...site tells me there is an issue, next minutee no issue... come on , I work from home...broadband is essential! I pay you for a service...you broke your contract by not providing that .
