@virginmedia let down yet again - online family Christmas spoiled by <9 mbps - paying for 200! Works on wired connection but sadly no Ethernet socket in the middle of the kitchen table. We are 6m away from the hub with no wall between. Can’t phone up to complain - suggestions?

Had to tether my laptop for the family zoom quiz from my 4G today due to @virginmedia internet being down and slow for two weeks. When will this issue be fixed? When my 4g runs out or my bill is high because I didn’t want to let my family down, who do I speak to?

Shocker, Virgin Media have their own usenet server free for their own customers. Apparently uses HW as a backbone but low retention. Of course you should never use a usenet group from your ISP, especially when they don't offer SSL.
