@virginmedia Thanks for being no help whatsoever? 3 days no internet but as usual you guys don’t seem to care. Shocking service as usual….

@Stsantek @virginmedia That is absolutely disgusting. My mum is with virgin and I’ll be moving her in a few months when her contract is up. They’re customer service is absolutely ****

@Stsantek @virginmedia The worst of it is that the 28m fine will not be distributed to all those it affected. OFCOM will use it to pay their CEO etc a large bonus.

@virginmedia Virgin Media fined £28m over 'deliberately dropping calls' and putting people on hold 'for no reason' Customers trying to cancel or switch were routinely put through the wringer by Virgin's customer service agents, an investigation by the regulator has found.

@Stsantek @virginmedia Yeap, happened to me too. I asked on the phone if there was any evidence of this "Contract" The call handler said point blank it didn't matter. The really annoying thing is the actual broadband is really good. Fast, reliable and only the odd day down for maintenance.

@Stsantek @virginmedia Yup, just dumped Virgin for EE. Although I swore I’d never use BT again after an appalling experience with them before switching to Virgin, I wouldn’t continue using their extortionate services anymore

@Mrshaythompson I find Virgin media better, I used to have Sky and when the bad weather came the bloody TV would lose the signal.😮

@Ofcom @Ofcom trousered £28m for themselves. Just as bad as @virginmedia 2 peas in a pod

Took me 18 months to tactically swerve Virgin Media after they tripled my broadband payments while moving home. They are unscrupulous. I’m with Community Fibre now and after 10 (mostly forced) years with Virgin, I’ll never return.
