    @virginmedia JFC that was probably the worst experience I've ever had trying to cancel a non-existant contract. They really go for the scorched Earth approach with departing customers, eh?

    @robertwiblin @virginmedia For good measure, when I do this I usually also say if they don’t now cancel then I’ll charge them £x per hour for time spent plus any further time I have to spend on it. I expect courts would enforce this

    @virginmedia Ok, went through this loop. Options to upgrade only. I want to downgrade. Takes me back to call customer service. So where does it help me speak to who I need to speak to? This is day 4 of trying to get through.
