@virginmedia Hello! I have an engineer visit booked but it’s not on the app. I’ve raised a complaint about that but my complaint isn’t on the app. I started a live chat and was asked to move it to WhatsApp’s, but didn’t receive any comms. How can I get any response from Virgin?

@ulickdcox @VodafoneIreland Not a vodafone issue. Looks like a core switch failure, optical cross-connect fault or other fault inside one of the central carrier-neutral hubs. It has dropped interconnection across multiple fixed ISPs (Virgin Media, Eir, Siro, NBI) simultaneously.

@Johnty14 @virginmedia Better than when they came to my house. I’m not a customer but they still came while I was out and dug up plants in my front garden to access connecting services I didn’t ask for. Then refused any contact with me afterwards due to not being a customer!

@LPXIOP This isn’t anything new tbh. The two copper networks are basically BT & Virgin Media. They’ve been migrating across to VOIP (Voice over ip) for a long time now. Unfortunately copper networks have become old and expensive to maintain and quality of service just deteriorates over time with fault calls, replacing cables and customer complaints etc.

@virginmedia Your salesperson confirmed by text that his manager had approved covering that £6 for the term. I have the messages. It has never appeared on my bill. He asked me to email a compensation request, which I did. No reply. Chased three times since. No reply. 2/

Dear @virginmedia I upgraded my package last night to add TV yet I wish to cancel this change due to the price for existing customers which is nearly double to what a new customer would get… I have tried to contact through various methods to cancel.
