Latest outage, problems and issue reports in Ballycastle and nearby locations:

  • beezlebum Sir Bee (@beezlebum) reported from Ballycastle, Northern Ireland

@virginmedia I didn't have a webchat. There hasn't been a resolution. 58 days with no broadband, no help, no explanation. Slow handclap to you. These tweets aren't damaging your brand. Your 'customer service' is.

  • beezlebum Sir Bee (@beezlebum) reported from Ballycastle, Northern Ireland

@Hash1981 @virginmedia @Ofcom You too? It's been going on since 26 June for me. Absolutely appalling. I wouldn't even call it customer service. I've wasted hours of my life.

  • beezlebum Sir Bee (@beezlebum) reported from Ballycastle, Northern Ireland

@virginmedia Got a text saying you've been trying to get in touch with me. You haven't. Asked to call 150 where I would be prioritised to your specialist resolve team. I wasn't. Apparently, my tweets are damaging your brand. Not your lies or my service being down for 2 months.

  • beezlebum Sir Bee (@beezlebum) reported from Ballycastle, Northern Ireland

@virginmedia Absolutely nothing was resolved. An email was sent to some tech guys saying I was damaging the brand by tweeting about it. If you're worried about brand damage, wouldn't it be better to fix my broadband after 58 days of no service?

  • beezlebum Sir Bee (@beezlebum) reported from Ballycastle, Northern Ireland

@virginmedia No. I have had no information at all. Hours of 'customer service' interaction resulted in being told it has been delayed again. I shouldn't have to do this. YOU should be keeping me informed. Three months with no broadband is not good enough.

  • beezlebum Sir Bee (@beezlebum) reported from Ballycastle, Northern Ireland

@virginmedia I've wasted hours of my life being hoodwinked by your 'customer service'. So I'm just going to keep pestering on twitter. It might be a grim warning so others don't have to go through it. I want someone to contact me and to resolve this issue. It's not that difficult.

  • beezlebum Sir Bee (@beezlebum) reported from Ballycastle, Northern Ireland

@virginmedia What? Feel free to provide me with the service I'm paying for and compensate me for the hours it's taken to get the minimum of information from you. But I don't suppose that will happen. Just like the reconnection of my services.

  • beezlebum Sir Bee (@beezlebum) reported from Ballycastle, Northern Ireland

@virginmedia Email, call, write me a letter ... you're a communication company. Or just, you know, cut and paste your resolution right here. I'm intrigued.

  • beezlebum Sir Bee (@beezlebum) reported from Ballycastle, Northern Ireland

@virginmedia I have a full time job. I don't have time for any more of your lies. I don't want to discuss it. I am beyond that. I just want it fixed. All I can do is continue to expose your incompetence on twitter until you resolve the problem.

  • beezlebum Sir Bee (@beezlebum) reported from Ballycastle, Northern Ireland

@virginmedia 56 days with no broadband and no help or communication. Well done @virginmedia you've really confirmed your status as the worst customer service possible.

  • DrNFox Dr Fox (@DrNFox) reported

@virginmedia 3/6 zero info or advice. I have to phone help from call centre based abroad- have done this 6 or 7 times - only info I ever get on cable guys is “a work order has been made for a date” - normally they simply do not turn up and they NEVER

  • Gareth_Mc Gareth McCullough (@Gareth_Mc) reported

Think I have had the worst customer service that I have ever experienced with @virginmedia absolutely shocking.

  • DrNFox Dr Fox (@DrNFox) reported

@virginmedia 2/6 in road. Two visits by cable contractors - last visit to complete new cable to house was 28.07.22 - since then no service at all now including no internet - engineers have no idea what the cable guys are doing so they just take off with

  • aanniebananie annie (@aanniebananie) reported

@virginmedia online it says there’s no issue in my area but when we call it says there is, can you confirm this and tell me when it’ll be fixed?

  • jasonkneen Jason Kneen (@jasonkneen) reported

@virginmedia no — but then it never does until hours later when I’ve been banging on about issues for hours

  • IanHunter3007 Ian Hunter 😻 🐈 💙 (@IanHunter3007) reported

@virginmedia No I haven't, I know the cables are all tight, as I've already checked this, the cable between your hub and my router is CAT7, so way overspec. The devices that are hardwired in the house are on a gigabit network. The problem is as always the Virgin Media network! 😠

  • Gertie58 Sharon Hills 💗 (@Gertie58) reported

@virginmedia Lip service yet again. Why didn't they fix the issue last time. Same old, same old...

  • xLepebble Lep (@xLepebble) reported

@virginmedia I've been asleep so I haven't got a clue. Don't think its been down though

  • N28197454 N (@N28197454) reported

@virginmedia You delivered the wrong iPhone and a host of other service failures.

  • Carolinefawell Caroline Fawell (@Carolinefawell) reported

@virginmedia our broadband has gone down for the majority of our estate (2nd time in a week) yet your service status shows nothing wrong. Please look into this urgently as the majority of us are attempting to work from home!
