    @alandavies1 @virginmedia If it’s any comfort to you, @VirginMediaIE is based locally and every bit as bad. Returning the set top box because I was emigrating required three days off work and the threat to throw it in the skip before they sent a work experience lad out in a taxi to collect it.

    @virginmedia They spent 1.5 hours on phone on Thursday PM. Operative couldn't rectify but raised complaint. Told you would ring back - never have. They rang again today to be told 22nd is best you can do. That is at best dysfunctional and at worst heartless.

    @virginmedia This is exactly the same loop i keep getting into, is it not possible to speak with someone who can help over the phone, surely not all faults are fixed online. How do i know what equipment to replace if that is the issue?

    @virginmedia Via the ethernet lead that came with the Tivo box, this has worked for years with no issue.

    @virginmedia No internet all day. Been through all checks. Reset w/ advisor this morning - told I should invest in an ethernet cable, how about the service I pay for actually works?! Still not working. On hold for nearly an hour now. What am I paying for here??

    @virginmedia After 1.5 hours on the phone Thursday PM operator could not change date and raised serious complaint. Parents were told you would ring within 48 hours. Well it's now 2pm and no call has been forthcoming so you have 4.5 hours left.

    @virginmedia disgrace the hold times waiting to connect just waiting for the normal call drop by lazy advisors might be going to @BT as better customer service

    @virginmedia Yes. I originally registered on the forum about a year ago. Never managed to verify then, but eventually managed to actually talk to a human and got our issue sorted.
