Sadly the o2 network is rubbish, especially if you need to use mobile data, it's very slow. And you don't get much data allowance for your money.

At the risk of looking stupid, though, is there any way to check whether they've credited my account? I keep checking my app, but nothing seems to have changed. Thank you!

Never ever used. It was a scary time especially as they threatened to take furniture and belongings if I didn't pay up. Scary++
