@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK I had the same issue very recently with BT regarding my Dad's mobile account, they kept using excuses for why there was a delay in closing his account after this death. Every other company I had to deal with (and there were many) dealt with the situation much better than BT.

Hi @Beer52HQ trying to cancel after taking up a promotion from @VodafoneUK , no answer on your phone line, no reply to email, no reply to dm on here. The terms said I could cancel on my online account but there’s no option to cancel just a phone number which you don’t answer

@VodafoneUK How incompetent are you? New customer, 3 days post activation date for broadband, still no router. Call centre cut me off after 45 mins without a solution. Chat bot gave me a fault reference 868423 which your call centre now doesn’t recognise 😡 SHOCKING SERVICE😡

@VodafoneUK Tried to take advantage of this @VodafoneUK. In stock when ordered Fri lunchtime, email confirmation said delivery today. Nothing arrived and customer services cannot give me a delivery estimate - terrible new customer experience.
