  • penny_disco Penny! Back at work (@penny_disco) reported from Exeter District, England

This is despite written confirmation (via email) that .@VodafoneUK are waiving the fee for us as compensation for the lack of service. YET ANOTHER LIE.

  • penny_disco Penny! In the rain (@penny_disco) reported from Exeter District, England

.@VodafoneUK Very dissatisfied with your broadband service. We were promised our broadband router will arrive on 2nd August. Then that became 13th August. Then 16th August. Then that became today. 3 different reschedules and we have not received the router 😡😡.

  • penny_disco Penny! Back at work (@penny_disco) reported from Exeter District, England

Beyond disappointed. I’ve been a customer with .@VOXI_UK - and never had any issues whatsoever. Yet my experience with .@VodafoneUK broadband team has been nothing but a great disappointment.

Vodafone Issues Reports

  • beardyrock 🤘🏻 Beardy 🤘🏻 (@beardyrock) reported

@GeorgeMonbiot @PrettyHatMech @VodafoneUK (2/2) Can also lead to corner cutting or agents ‘half-arsing’ things to keep call times down. Obvs don’t know if Vodafone do this as have never worked for them, but it is quite common in call centre operations particularly if they are outsourced rather than in-house.

  • red1hols Simon Holder (@red1hols) reported

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK Methods exist to get feedback on what customers deem a successful outcome. This feedback should be used to reward Customer Service staff who get high satisfaction ratings from customers. Difficult that one though as metrics are abused by managers measured on how much they spend.

  • PrettyHatMech 🄿🅁🄴🅃🅃🅈 🄷🄰🅃 🄼🄰🄲🄷🄸🄽🄴 (@PrettyHatMech) reported

@ebullienteddie @GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK The unfortunate outcome of many of the metrics is they drive an obsession to hitting quantitate rather than qualitative targets and the end result is dehumanising the service.

  • alasdairking Alasdair King (@alasdairking) reported

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK Another question might be "has there been concern that customers are using 'I'm bereaved' as a way to cancel contracts? Have you discussed this internally? Has it produced any guidelines for staff or change in bonuses?

  • xlenm Michael Lenehan / Mícheál Ó Leannacháin (@xlenm) reported

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK Really well done on this. Might it be beneficial to invite a representative from @WhichUK to join you? They have a long track record of dealing with cases & patterns of bad customer care and can probably offer good advice.

  • kvick13 Katie Vickers (@kvick13) reported

@Moonbeamsplay @GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK I agree. Our problems with Vodafone could be easily solved if we could just speak with a human (assuming they employ staff who are decently paid and well enough treated to be motivated to contribute to Vodafone's success).

  • hparky88 Hannah Park (@hparky88) reported

@VodafoneUK is without a doubt the worst company I have ever had to deal with! And I haven’t been a customer for 4 years!

  • JMMills9 🌻J M Mills 🇺🇦 🇪🇺🇫🇷🇬🇧🦮🐈‍⬛🦮 (@JMMills9) reported

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK What a well-thought out and considered thread. Sorry you had to go through so much unnecessary hassle after your sad loss. I was a vf customer for 15 years and had countless fruitless calls. Eventually changed provider out of frustration.

  • anniepoplova Dame Anniepoplova of the North🌱💙😷💉🕯️⭐🦡🐇🦊 (@anniepoplova) reported

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK I'd like to be able to conduct business at a Vodafone shop. They seem to only be able to sell us stuff in their outlets with no customer after care or query answering. Why not?

  • jonosurfboy jono (@jonosurfboy) reported

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK How about these principles being drafted into legislation so all companies do not treat their customers appallingly, deceased or otherwise. They’ve got away with this behaviour for far too long. Send it to your mate Penny. An early policy for her.
