@JuliaHB1 @VodafoneUK You should try talking to Three - customer services. You’d be feeling that desperate by 3 minutes, not 32!

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK Let me guess🤔 Moorcroft debt recovery? I went through the same **** 3yrs ago when my mam passed away, Vodaphone were extremely unhelpful, a sharp worded letter to Moorcroft and they wrote it off.

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK I had the same issue when my dad passed away, even asked to put him in the phone to give authority for me to speak on his behalf! Finally got it sorted after 13 months and a very helpful staff member in our local Vodafone shop

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK I work in customer services, when a customer contacts via live chat you are first met with a bot who directs you to the correct department. If you ‘click speak with advisor’ you are passed across to speak/chat with a live agent.

@VodafoneUK @GeorgeMonbiot “Deepest condolences”?? It’s a bit late for that don’t you think? And a BOT? Get off your useless backsides and get out in front of this, or face the backlash. You’ve already got a dreadful rep when it comes to customer service, this won’t help your cause..

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK I had similar issues with my Dad's estate. It's hard to get through online or phone as you need to be the person. Sometimes organisations have 'bereavement departments' which helps. Took 5 days phoning/emailing. Today a letter re council tax, but his house is sold!

@VodafoneUK @GeorgeMonbiot For a communications company, you are exceptionally bad at communicating. This interaction shows repeated gross misunderstandings on your part, at best, or more likely toxic policies towards your customers.

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK Im sorry for your loss George and hope you get it resolved soon. But this thread has the hilarity of countless people with the same problem calling out their suppliers only for their Media teams to scramble a rearguard and late attempt and seeming caring!

@GeorgeMonbiot @BenjaminBallA @VodafoneUK I’ve not to deal with this per say but have had huge issues with companies in the past - FYI you can sign to linked-in premium for a month for free, then that way you can contact all kinds of people at companies. When the month is up unsubscribe. It works

@IainTrundle @GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK The concept of "customer service" is largely dead. It has been replaced by "extract as much as you can from the mugs and treat them like dirt". All "enhanced" by "how did we do" surveys....it's a disgusting farce and symptomatic of modern Britain.
