It makes me sad to hear @VodafoneUK adverts encouraging people to replace their iPhones every 12 months with a new one. Disgusting waste, #consumerism & planned-obsolesce. This isn’t going to help the #Environment or the world we leave behind for future generations!

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK I tried to cancel the contract i took out for my son when he was a minor. The person on the end refused because he insisted the contract holder was a man because of my first name. It took nearly a year.

I’ve rtd a tweet about @VodafoneUK not cancelling a relatives contract when they have passed away. I have a contract with them and would hate my husband to go through that so when it ends I’m moving provider. Shocking customer care.

well done, fellow T&H residents. We did right!!

@NeilCotton @GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK Never, ever, ever take a mobile contract. SIM-free phone plus PAYG or 1-month rolling contract (eg GiffGaff "goodybags") has been cheaper option for literally years now.

@VodafoneUK I take it you can’t match the deal? If not, is there a reason for that? Surely they it’s all Vodafone providing the signal not matter which option I chose 🤷

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK @ThreeUK It wasn't even a "I'm sorry I can help because...." they were downright nasty and aggressive.

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK Vodafone charged me £320 for a 60 minute call to my dying mother. Their platform didn't allow me to buy an int bundle and they refused to help. took them to the regulator and won it all back. Never will I use them again after 15 years loyalty. I'd rather go without

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK I used to work for them and when I did, we would fax a copy of death certificate and they closed accounts. This was still the case when my friend had to close down her mums account last year. I don't know why they are making this hard for you. Absolutely disgraceful.

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK That’s utterly awful. Is there an ombudsman you can contact. @VodafoneUK - you are a disgrace!
