It makes me sad to hear @VodafoneUK adverts encouraging people to replace their iPhones every 12 months with a new one. Disgusting waste, #consumerism & planned-obsolesce. This isn’t going to help the #Environment or the world we leave behind for future generations!

@DavidDavisMP @VodafoneUK 3 hours for me this weekend waiting for @VodafoneUK to answer their support line and then I gave up. It would be admission of how poor their service is if they gave people an indication of queue length. “We are experiencing a high volume of calls and will be with you in 6 hours”

@DavidDavisMP @VodafoneUK I have never spent 6 hours dealing with anything - certainly not as anything as bullshit as what you're describing. 'Gratz on making yourself look like a complete and utter plonker - you've only succeeded in getting dripped on.

Call and they put you on hold for at least 10 mins to drive self-service on the website knowing if you’ve a real problem you’ll hang on. Tell them you want to leave & in seconds you reach retentions & are offered a deal to stay.

@DavidDavisMP @VodafoneUK Re Vodaphone: My daughter called to make a complaint, was put on hold for 35 mins until they hung up. Yet, if you enquire to buy a new contract you're put straight through to sales. I've moved to EE, good reception everywhere, & good customer service. No problems since

so, @VodafoneUK overcharged me for months during summer when I was out of contract & didn't realise - no refund received. Now they are penalising me with £170 for leaving a contract I didn't know I was in! BEWARE & AVOID. plus, very difficult to access proper customer support.
