It makes me sad to hear @VodafoneUK adverts encouraging people to replace their iPhones every 12 months with a new one. Disgusting waste, #consumerism & planned-obsolesce. This isn’t going to help the #Environment or the world we leave behind for future generations!

@GeorgeMonbiot Well done George, and shame on you @VodafoneUK. I've been with another provider for years, but have occasionally considered Vodafone for a possible switch. Not now. Just one of many shady companies giving absolute dog **** levels of service to consumers.

Plus the router they sent was smashed up in the box. If you are considering using @VodafoneUK ask for some guarantees. Or probably don’t use them. Signing up for a contract is so easy. But then the problems start. #Vodafonedown

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK Yes. And debt is "sold" from one collector to another, so it never ends, even if you give in and pay it. I paid off a relative's debt and ten years later I'm still getting calls trying to collect again

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK How disgusting such companies are. Please pass that on to your CEO @VodafoneUK. I'm with Utility Warehouse and can never imagine them behaving this way

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK Similar experience with @VirginMediaIE - after dad died with dementia we discovered he had been paying for 2 unused phone contracts for a year. He’d been missold them on the phone-no paperwork or contract.350€ later, no redress or apology after hours of waiting on hold to cancel

@VodafoneUK @GeorgeMonbiot Some of your colleagues need to stop having suspension of people being frauds when only use 1 name and details. With Vodafone broken system sends peoples bills to wrong people by text. Wish could end contract and leave for free

@VodafoneUK @GeorgeMonbiot I guess there is no one left in this company, that is not a complete psycho, to fix this. If I was a customer, I would get out, if I was a share holder, I would sell.

@VodafoneUK @GeorgeMonbiot The only reason you've done this is because @GeorgeMonbiot is a public figure and took the problem to social media. Big corporations are all the same, you are only sorry when publicly called out by someone who is heard on a large scale.
