@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK Talk talk are no different, we tried to cancel my mothers account for almost two years I eventually stopped the DD. I know they run a business but their customer care/credit controllers don’t believe your parent has died, it’s pay us or we put you to debt collection.

@GeorgeMonbiot @danielrembrandt @VodafoneUK I had similar problems with this vile company a few years ago. I eventually resolved my issue via the ombudsman after a year of absolute hell trying to deal with their awful “customer service” people.

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK So sorry to read this. I had exactly the same issue with my husband’s account after he passed away. Cancelled it x 2 but never happened. They also sent a debt recovery firm. Only after I complained publicly on Facebook did someone sort it out.

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK That’s awful, I’m so sorry George. I once made the terrible mistake of having a contract with Vodafone, they are a truly awful company, it put me off them for life.
