    @Speedy_Matt_ @VodafoneUK I went 3 months with no data and they couldn't resolve it at all. Never got any compensation despite paying full bill but having proof of 0mb data used. Just literally came back on one day and they couldn't explain it.

    @VodafoneUK @GeorgeMonbiot Fk your DM. Your company needs to have a policy where bereaved relatives can cancel the contract - I mean which kind of company would want to insist that someone deceased continues to be a customer? It’s insane. What a **** show from your company

    @GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK George, what abominable behaviour by Vodafone. We had a poor experience: my wife cancelled her contract years ago with £6.50 of credit, which we were promised would be refunded. Despite many calls, it never has been. Not as bad by far as your experience, but leaves a bad taste.

    @GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK I have a problem with my account. they overcharge me and when i call they never do anything. I went to the Vodafone shop in Bristol where we live at they sorted he matter within 10 minutes . I get a rebate this month!! I always find that a face to face is much better than calls

However, when dad died he’s bank bent over backwards to help us sort out his financial details (he wasn’t rich and didn’t have much in his a/c). The

    @GeorgeMonbiot I had a similar experience with them. They eventually tried to register a default debt on my credit record. I showed the correspondence to the debt agents and default was removed. Only then did @VodafoneUK respond with an offer to fix it. By then I told them to get lost.

I told them very indignantly I refused to pay the breach of contract fee. They haven’t followed it up, and we haven’t been…

I and my employer spent 25+ hrs over 7 mths on phone to @VodafoneUK trying to get them to understand they were doubly charging me & employer for same contract. Took Ombudsman, loss of handset & 5 weeks of no line before I was reimbursed. Never again.
