@CllrEmmaMorse @virginmedia @bt_uk @SkyUK @VodafoneUK @BenPBradshaw Amazing how we are living in this “Digital Age” and yet there are these “Connectivity Black Spots” within the city 🙄 Amazing and disappointing the private companies don’t want to help/get more customers 😕 @BenPBradshaw works so hard for Exeter, lobbying away on everything!😊👍

  • penny_disco Penny! In the rain (@penny_disco) reported from Exeter District, England

.@VodafoneUK Very dissatisfied with your broadband service. We were promised our broadband router will arrive on 2nd August. Then that became 13th August. Then 16th August. Then that became today. 3 different reschedules and we have not received the router 😡😡.

  • penny_disco Penny! Back at work (@penny_disco) reported from Exeter District, England

This is despite written confirmation (via email) that .@VodafoneUK are waiving the fee for us as compensation for the lack of service. YET ANOTHER LIE.

  • penny_disco Penny! Back at work (@penny_disco) reported from Exeter District, England

Beyond disappointed. I’ve been a customer with .@VOXI_UK - and never had any issues whatsoever. Yet my experience with .@VodafoneUK broadband team has been nothing but a great disappointment.

  • andii29 The Subbuteo kid (@andii29) reported

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK Appalling corporate bullying It is a tiny consolation George, but just think of all the business they're going to lose (mine included)down to this

  • deans_alexandra Alexis Deans (@deans_alexandra) reported

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK Had a difficult time trying to cancel my fathers virgin tv and phone contract after he died. Not a single word of condolence. Female insisted she speak to him as he had to cancel contract. Told her to do so but she would need Ouija board. Took weeks. Very distressing.

  • quizzic_al1 Alan Chalmers (@quizzic_al1) reported

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK I had no problems cancelling all my parents accounts when they passed. I simply sent a certified copy of the death certificate to the relevant people. Yes, I had to buy them at the time of registering their deaths, but it helped enormously.

  • maxiwoo Maxiwoo (@maxiwoo) reported

@GeorgeMonbiot Had personal contract with @VodafoneUK . Took another two contacts for kids, set up payment from diff account. They took all 3 payments from both accounts for months. Sent round in circles. Left me crying with Frustration. Never again!

  • AJ_THFC_MIDDX Adam (@AJ_THFC_MIDDX) reported

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK Echo this 100%, I will never use Vodafone again, the customer service experience was genuinely horrendous

  • ArtMcFall Art McFall (@ArtMcFall) reported

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK Same **** when I got a phone 20yrs ago. They didn’t add roaming when they said they had, I got stuck in Munich airport for a night, unable to be contacted by colleague collecting me. Lost a £125k order next day. Also sent bailiff letters when I legally cancelled.

  • Dean65melb big al (@Dean65melb) reported

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK Had the same issue with them when we emigrated fifteen years ago. Took six months to get the useless bastards to close my account

  • charlie9452 Robin Lees (@charlie9452) reported

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK I have a problem with my account. they overcharge me and when i call they never do anything. I went to the Vodafone shop in Bristol where we live at they sorted he matter within 10 minutes . I get a rebate this month!! I always find that a face to face is much better than calls

  • Richard18618097 Richard Curtis (@Richard18618097) reported

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK I left years ago, and won't ever go back. It's a shame, given the roots of the company. Bad UK management.

  • Fenny_Goldfish Fenchurch S Goldfish 💙 (@Fenny_Goldfish) reported

@VodafoneUK @GeorgeMonbiot NO. DMs are not the answer. A working customer service team with sufficient people trained to correctly deal with customers' queries is the answer. And the excuse of "but Covid" is no longer acceptable. Deal with it now.
