Is anyone else having issues paying @VodafoneUK ? I have been unable to pay my bill since last month. Payment keeps saying pending and then returned in to my bank. Also having issues logging into the Vodafone website aswell. Anyone else having the same issue??

@VodafoneUK It’s not moved across and won’t be as you sent the router to my old address, despite informing you three times I don’t live there and was promised a new one was sent to arrive before my engineer today. This didn’t happen and my old provider has already taken down my service 😡😡

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK Thank you very much for this. You are doing a real service to us all calling out these awful companies and the suffering they have inflicted on many thousands of people. I hope companies like this are forced to compensate those affected.

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK ...the websites of organisations at random, and typed the word bereavement. Most orgs have plenty of results for help and advice and dedicated services. I tried Vodafone and I notice they now have a web form for the purposes. I assume that is new?

@VodafoneUK @TheBengwin @vodafone It seems that it is exactly how you want your customers to feel as these are the policies you enact. This is deliberate cruelty and I tell everyone I know never to use your company. This could be fixed but isn't.

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK Exactly the same treatment in Spain. My wife died in 2020. Tried many times to cancel her contract. So gave to lawyer dealing with estate. They tried to fool the lawyer, she announced who she was, contact cancelled.

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK Very sad to read this as I worked at Vodafone for 12 years, 3 of those in customer services albeit corporate cs But I can concur that if I can ever get to speak to anyone other than their app Tobi it has been wholly unsuccessful & have ended up having to escalate condolences 2u

@VodafoneUK @GeorgeMonbiot Looking at George's experience and that of many others, the vile treatment by Vodafone of bereaved families or of those who have power of attorney seems to be systemic and reflective of the worst side of corporate culture.
