  • MarinerDavid David Miller (@MarinerDavid) reported

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK 3-4 years ago, I cancelled my vodaphone contract because the signal was poor in the town where I live. I have never had to go through such a difficult and obstructive process in my life. I won't deal with them again.

  • davecrobsy Dave Crosby (@davecrobsy) reported

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK My experience with T-Mobile: No bereavement team just a call taker... Sorry for your loss, we will cancel your late mother's account immediately and write off any monies owed... Would you like to see a death certificate? No, not necessary.

  • AnnGriffin11 Ann Griffin 💙 (@AnnGriffin11) reported

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK Asked what they would do if he had died, ah they have a bereavement service that would deal with it. After many phone calls trying to change contract to my name (TV and BB) I took it up with CEO but still wasn't straightforward. Too much energy needed at a really difficult time

  • Tmccreight25 Tmccreight25 🇺🇦🇪🇺 (@Tmccreight25) reported

@VodafoneUK @GeorgeMonbiot You're customer service reps have done nothing but make this situation worse. I will be steering well clear of you and advising people I know to do the same.

  • Boroughman PAUL MCDONALD (@Boroughman) reported

@VodafoneUK I don't use Vodafone & never will. These IT companies are run by amoral obnoxious thugs who control our lives....and we stupidly put up with it!

  • mikhailbassa Mikhail Bassa (@mikhailbassa) reported

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK Try getting through to the corporate help desk for anything and you get pushed from bot to IVR and back again. Cost cutting nonsense. Will cancel as soon as I can @VodafoneUK

  • AdzCrawford2003 Adam Crawford (@AdzCrawford2003) reported

@VodafoneUK That doesn’t help customers does it? Only 4G in a few stations on the jubilee line.

  • kenwildon Ken Wildon (@kenwildon) reported

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK Having had a similar problem with a different organisation I lodged a complaint via the Resolver website. You'll be at stage 1 with a route to follow which goes up a level of responsibility with each contact, eventually taking you to the top if necessary. 1/2

  • PatBrandwood Pat Brandwood (@PatBrandwood) reported from Poole, England

@maccaspacca1 @GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK Isn't the problem that these companies pay very low wages to staff who know nothing except how to answer a phone, often not in their first language? Try asking a train line call service about a town in England.

  • OdinSkoll Lord Odin of Windsor (@OdinSkoll) reported

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK Horrible company. I cancelled a contract with them and PACed my number to another provider because they just unilaterally removed part of my contract. They kept taking the money and only stopped when I started a country court claim.
