@DylanMcD8 @iJames_ @VOXI_UK @VodafoneUK @VOXI_UK is owned by @VodafoneUK it’s a sub brand and operates on the Vodafone network as an MVNO, so I’m basically still with Vodafone. It even still says Vodafone as my carrier. So I assume it’s just an admin switch there end.

So 5G officially went live in the UK today on the @EE network in 5 major cities, @VodafoneUK will follow suit in a few weeks. 5G compatible smartphones are still pretty thin on the ground, and with no iPhone expected until 2nd half of 2020 this is going to be a slow burner #5G

@iJames_ @VOXI_UK @VodafoneUK You’ll get the “stock” answer of - “beta software is not supported software and you install at your own risk knowing that there may be compatibility issues” 😂😂

@iJames_ @DylanMcD8 @VOXI_UK @VodafoneUK It doesn’t really bother me, on the Xs you can’t see the carrier unless you pull down control centre because the notch takes up too much space 😂

@iJames_ @VOXI_UK @VodafoneUK I have my suspicion that it isn’t permanent though. I just think it’s because the carrier settings aren’t compatible, therefore iPhone reverts to default for the type of data network connection. So 4G here is LTE in the states.

@DylanMcD8 @VOXI_UK @VodafoneUK I’m just glad I have an 11Pro and not a Xr 😂. Vodafone and O2 have a cell sharing agreement meaning your phone will switch between the 2 networks in poor signal areas (cheaper way of increasing coverage) they also share many cell towers with both having antenna on a tower.

@ThisIsNoahEvans @VOXI_UK @VodafoneUK I had issues for around 20 minutes, seems to be back up a running now though

@BenObi2000 @VodafoneUK @EE I also believe I may be wrong but the EE does not support UMTS on the esim but Vodafone does. Shouldn’t be an issue really as 4G LTE is pretty much everywhere now.

@BBCr4today it’s ok for @bankofengland to say companies need to manage pricing. @VodafoneUK just hit me with nearly 15% - cost of living + 4% - how does that help?

@VodafoneUK if I read your price increase table correctly my phone bill will go up by nearly 6 pound a month. How are you going to improve my signal my indoor signal, you say the rises are to modernise the network so I want a better signal in my home and not worm out under

@VodafoneUK how can one speak directly to a customer care representative or what’s direct email. This issue of assigning BOT to respond to people needs to be looked into. Not all questions computer can answer

Third night on mobile 3G with one bar waiting for @VodafoneUK to get my broadband back on. Never would have thought in 2023 these things would be so difficult. Even more so when it's part of a bereavement service. Not cool.

@VodafoneUK how do you guys explain your terrible service in some parts of a supposed first world country (UK) in 2023? Do you guys have any plans of improving your services in Lincolnshire area or should we just move to EE??
