Vodafone Issues Reports Near Shrewsbury, England

  • Shaunjenks Shaun Jenks 📸📱 (@Shaunjenks) reported from Shrewsbury, England

So 5G officially went live in the UK today on the @EE network in 5 major cities, @VodafoneUK will follow suit in a few weeks. 5G compatible smartphones are still pretty thin on the ground, and with no iPhone expected until 2nd half of 2020 this is going to be a slow burner #5G

  • Shaunjenks Shaun Jenks 📸📱 (@Shaunjenks) reported from Shrewsbury, England

@iJames_ @DylanMcD8 @VOXI_UK @VodafoneUK It doesn’t really bother me, on the Xs you can’t see the carrier unless you pull down control centre because the notch takes up too much space 😂

  • Shaunjenks Shaun Jenks 📱⌚️💻📸 (@Shaunjenks) reported from Shrewsbury, England

@iJames_ @VOXI_UK @VodafoneUK I have my suspicion that it isn’t permanent though. I just think it’s because the carrier settings aren’t compatible, therefore iPhone reverts to default for the type of data network connection. So 4G here is LTE in the states.

  • Shaunjenks Shaun Jenks 📱⌚️💻📸 (@Shaunjenks) reported from Shrewsbury, England

@iJames_ @VOXI_UK @VodafoneUK You’ll get the “stock” answer of - “beta software is not supported software and you install at your own risk knowing that there may be compatibility issues” 😂😂

  • Shaunjenks Shaun Jenks 🇬🇧📱⌚️💻📸✈️ (@Shaunjenks) reported from Shrewsbury, England

@ThisIsNoahEvans @VOXI_UK @VodafoneUK I had issues for around 20 minutes, seems to be back up a running now though

  • Shaunjenks Shaun Jenks 📸  📱 (@Shaunjenks) reported from Shrewsbury, England

@BenObi2000 @VodafoneUK @EE I also believe I may be wrong but the EE does not support UMTS on the esim but Vodafone does. Shouldn’t be an issue really as 4G LTE is pretty much everywhere now.

  • louisefx96 Louise (@louisefx96) reported from Telford and Wrekin, England

@VodafoneUK staff on the phone are actually useless we order our new contract on the phone go to collect in store to be told the daft woman on the phone never put the order though can you be ******* asked

  • Shaunjenks Shaun Jenks 📸📱 (@Shaunjenks) reported from Shrewsbury, England

@DylanMcD8 @iJames_ @VOXI_UK @VodafoneUK @VOXI_UK is owned by @VodafoneUK it’s a sub brand and operates on the Vodafone network as an MVNO, so I’m basically still with Vodafone. It even still says Vodafone as my carrier. So I assume it’s just an admin switch there end.

  • Shaunjenks Shaun Jenks 🇬🇧📱⌚️💻📸✈️ (@Shaunjenks) reported from Shrewsbury, England

@DylanMcD8 @VOXI_UK @VodafoneUK I’m just glad I have an 11Pro and not a Xr 😂. Vodafone and O2 have a cell sharing agreement meaning your phone will switch between the 2 networks in poor signal areas (cheaper way of increasing coverage) they also share many cell towers with both having antenna on a tower.

  • SteHancocks Ste (@SteHancocks) reported from Telford and Wrekin, England

£26 Unlimited data sim means no more WiFi issues in the office 🙌🏼 hotspot all day long. Thanks @VodafoneUK

  • espanajules Julie Brown (@espanajules) reported from Newburn, England

@VodafoneUK you’re a joke and you’re “manager” whom refused to even help or sort out my problem.. sounded like the party was good in the background though! 😡

  • jaykit22 Jackie Kitchiner (@jaykit22) reported

@VodafoneUK says on your website that there's no network issues in my area, but online webchat says the network is down, might help if u update these type of things as you're supposed to be a communications company

  • Sarahalonge_ Sarah Alonge (@Sarahalonge_) reported

@VodafoneUK April, no. Because I’m no longer an existing customer! I was 5 years ago and 5 years after leaving you I AM STILL TRYING TO RESOLVE AN ISSUE YOU ALLEGEDLY SOLVED 5 years ago. Odd!

  • BlacksTTer BlacksTTer (@BlacksTTer) reported

@VodafoneUK I’ve done all this before. @VodafoneUK customer service have no power or authority. All you can do is accept money.

  • KevinS61 Kevin S (@KevinS61) reported

Thanks @VodafoneUK 5 calls and 5 hours of my life trying to sort out a billing issue! But this time offered compensation... "how much have we over charged you?", "£19.98" I say, "OK, we'll apply a £20 credit"... gee thanks...what am I going to do with the 2p! #customerservicefail

  • Sarahalonge_ Sarah Alonge (@Sarahalonge_) reported

@espanajules @VodafoneUK Mine was over an hour and no one came back on the line! I’m now on my 4th advisor! THE WORST

  • espanajules Julie Brown (@espanajules) reported

@VodafoneUK you need to look at your service.. look at your call recordings..

  • Julie_Bedus Julie_Bedus (@Julie_Bedus) reported

@VodafoneUK can you let me know who I can contact regarding dangerous driving and subsequent abuse from one of your engineers? I did contact you online using a complaint form, but no reply received, despite saying I would be contacted in 5 days. Thanks.

  • ElleGeorgieva Elena Georgieva (@ElleGeorgieva) reported

@VodafoneUK Oh FFS, I just want to have internet connection, is it that hard, clearly it is! When do you want me to talk to them when I only got the issue tonight. Does anyone at Vodafone actually know what on earth they are doing because it doesn't seem so to me.
