@VodafoneUK Still no sense of urgency on the part of Vodafone, seriously rubbish customer service, private message sent this morning as directed and still nothing - you should be ashamed you know a child with a specific need is involved here - you could care less !!!!

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK This doesn’t surprise me at all. My mother died in 2003 and trying to close her BT landline account was a nightmare. The person I spoke to kept saying “we need to speak to the customer”! Finally I went into the BT sales centre saw a charming lady and in 20 minutes I had finished.

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK My phone developed a fault that resulted in a monthly bill of £900. I rang customer help and was told by a very rude woman that it was my fault and I had to pay them. I cancelled my DD and of course they sent me debt collectors. I did pay eventually but felt cheated.

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK Vodafone Australia isn’t much better. Had a bad experience with them years ago and won’t ever go back.

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK We had the same problem with Orange a decade ago, demanding a death certificate I’d sent to them twice. They were incredibly apologetic after setting debt collectors onto a dead woman, but the damage was done.

@VodafoneUK @speckyninja Too late Vodafone. I was actually looking at switching over to your network now that my current contract is up, but having just read about your *despicable* behaviour, I won't be going anywhere near you!

@VodafoneUK @DialsWine Your use of the wave emoji isn't cute, we know it's your sad attempt of "being polite" whilst actually giving the finger. Please maybe don't if you actually want to keep customers. We aren't that stupid. 👋
