@VodafoneUK Still no sense of urgency on the part of Vodafone, seriously rubbish customer service, private message sent this morning as directed and still nothing - you should be ashamed you know a child with a specific need is involved here - you could care less !!!!

@VodafoneUK @GeorgeMonbiot Ha! What a joke response. I’ve been with Vodafone for 25 years and canceling all our numbers as contracts end. There is no customer service as you can see unless you want to chat to a bot. It’s corporate gangster arrogance.

  • SoupySoupySue Soup Dragon (@SoupySoupySue) reported

@VodafoneUK @GeorgeMonbiot Bad enough for me, but to do this to your family at a time like that is shocking behaviour. I can't wait to leave Vodafone.

  • hitchhiker130 Ally Diaf (@hitchhiker130) reported

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK Had terrible problems with them in 2015. They ripped me off around £200 mobile contract. Like you, tried to deal with them but lost the will to live. EE have superb customer services. Have been with them ever since & won't move. Have had Sky and BT Bband/tv. They're pretty good.

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK The best way is to contact Matthew on BBC Watchdog he'll get you answers and they get bad publicity on national TV. Condolences and hoping you get satisfaction compensation the works

  • paul_lanyon Pablo 💙 (@paul_lanyon) reported

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK My mother is paying for a Vodafone account she has spent over a year trying to cancel (out of contract too). It’s basically impossible as the shops can’t help and you spend hours phoning useless offshore centres until you just give up. I even tried writing to them: awful company.

  • Sarahcoconnell Sarah O'Connell (@Sarahcoconnell) reported

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK Vodafone called me and offered an upgraded phone but actually opened a new contract and charged me for it for 2 years. Tried to cancel over 100’s of calls often in tears of fury. Had to go to Ombudsman who made them apologise and refund me £100. Which wasn’t enough, frankly.

  • chilephilly Philippa AS (@chilephilly) reported

@BobAustraliaUK @GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK I had the same issue with RAC when my husband died. Them: "The account isn't in your name" Me: I know" Them: "Can I speak to Mr Robert Saddington?" Me: " Only if you've got a ouija board, love." Them: "Why?" Christ on a bike.

  • alittlemole Little Mole #StandWithUkraine (@alittlemole) reported

@VodafoneUK @GeorgeMonbiot "This is certainly not the experience we want for our customers especially in difficult times. Now, use a BOT to try to get through to us". Can you not hear how awful that sounds Vodafone?

  • irishnovelist des greene (@irishnovelist) reported

@VodafoneUK @GeorgeMonbiot Very similar stories here - customer service is a thing of the past - even though sometimes more expensive I opt for local services with local customer interaction…

  • SoupySoupySue Soup Dragon (@SoupySoupySue) reported

@VodafoneUK @GeorgeMonbiot Took me 3 months to cancel a contract which was literally out of date - as in I was out of contract with them. Each time I spoke to them they confirmed cancellation - and then charged me for another month. I have another contract with them... Already stressing over it.
