@ThreeUK I went to visit my parents yesterday, I'm on three, they're on three and my brother is also on three. My Husband is on ee and Sister-in-Law is on Vodafone. Both their phones went off and ours were silent!! We've got no chance in a real emergency 🙃

@JIX5A @ThreeUK Talk about making a crisis out of a drama. It was a test and intended to reveal flaws. It revealed flaws, so the test worked. Can't imagine what you'd be like in a real emergency.

Three network signal is rubbish. They’ve been told how our phone sometimes lines don’t connect and sometimes it’s sounds like the connection is abroad and nobody can get through. Let this alert be a wake up call and Step up with your signals!! @ThreeUK @ThreeUKSupport

@Moonshxde @ThreeUK I don't think it was EVERYONE because my brother got it but a few of my friends didn't either and they're either on 3 or a network powered by 3, as am I

@ThreeUK Don’t worry about it. No erupting volcanos, life-threatening earthquakes, tsunamis etc in UK. And even if nuclear weapons existed, an emergency alert would be like putting a plaster on a decapitated torso. 👍🏼

@katebevan @ThreeUK Partner not on 3 got it, I did not. When we were in California a few weeks ago, we both got emergency alerts of flooding, in English and Spanish.

@ThreeUK @ThreeUKSupport What happens in the Emergency Alert scenario if you cannot connect with a cellular network so are using fallback to Wi-Fi Calling? Is there a mechanism to include such users in the Emergency Alert because that is certainly the situation for me on a regular basis.

@ThreeUKSupport It didn't eventually but kept coming up saying network provider has disabled mobil data which wasn't very good when I needed it

@JitEspresso @ThreeUK Not something they can do, as it's technically not possible. The user can toggle the settings off and the phone simply wont scan for emergency broadcasts. The government nor operator can do anything about this.
