  @ruthm4x @AOL Did you ever hear back from anyone about this further. It really is unbelievable what has happened. What about using @gmail there service is very user friendly not sure about warning though, I thought all providers would of done this, clearly not with @YahooCare

  @calligraphymmo @Volstatsz @WarcraftDevs @maelfus I’ve never understood the whole idea of “I don’t like it, so neither should you.” Sega Vs.   I would never join BlueSky, it would be much much better to put a second sim card in my phone and have my followers have this new phone number. I was tech-social before AOL, MSN and BBM and it was just fine.

  Bitcoin - it’s not a pretty picture right now. It’s been in a massive sell off since October of last year. It does have dynamic support at that red line, which is the 200 simple moving average. I would expect some sort of bounce there, but there is no “has to” in the markets and it can certainly go lower, even much lower.  My problem with bitcoin is its usability. I’ve never used bitcoin to buy anything and very few places accept bitcoin as payment. And when an asset class can move that quickly, it is certainly not a store of value, at least not yet. So when people say it’s digital Gold, I just don’t know, I don’t see it yet. Until I can actually use it, I can’t get excited about it. There is value to the technology I know that for sure but I’m not educated enough in crypto to know exactly what that is. The market will tell me when it’s time to buy crypto. Crypto reminds me of the .COM error of 2000, you could see the future, but you knew it was a while away from being practical. Most of the names that were all hyped up are no longer around like AOL or Infoseek or Netscape. With the .COM crash Amazon went to a dollar a share. OMG imagine where you would be right now if you bought Amazon at a dollar a share. We may be approaching a similar situation in bitcoin, I’m just not sure where this asset class bottoms. Don’t forget with the Internet, we were all hyped up about it in 1995 when it was just coming out, but it wasn’t until 2000 when all the mania started happening in the internet stocks which led to the eventual stock market crash of 2000.  Disclaimer: this is not professional, financial advice, it’s just my opinion.

  @Nasdaq @SpaceX Getting in on SpaceX 🚀 today is like getting in on the railroad industry in the late 1800s. Or, it could be like getting in on dotcom craze in the late 90s. I’m thinking back on AOL, WorldCom, Mindspring, and COVAD. Then there are always those Captains of tech like Kodak, and Motorola. Who eventually died on the vine because they just couldn’t keep up. Their boards were old and myopic and just couldn’t conceive of a future, other than what they were already doing. But $SPCX though. 🤔 Sometimes you just have to say, “what ********” and lay down a hundred grand, cross your fingers, and hope the best for the future. And the future for the next hundred years is going to be the exploration of technologies and space that we can’t even comprehend today. It won’t be easy, it won’t be slick and clean and shiny like some sci-fi would have you believe. It will be *****, cold, fraught with danger in the vast emptiness. Some will thrive, some will lose. Just like the “New World” explorers 300 years ago. There are no guarantees.

  I think David Zaslav will go down in media history, with Steve Case, as the two greatest salesmen to ever rip off clueless suitors. Case convinced Time Warner/Gerald Levin that AOL was far more valuable than it was, and Zaslav sold Warner Brothers Discovery for a ruinous price.

  NETSCAPE was like AOL, Browser type systems - that all changed in 2000. Using your Phone line was fun - 20 minuet downloads for a Bitmap / Jpeg picture. No one today could "put up" with how slow things used to be. Websites were made with Wordpress and were limited to say the least.
