@liron @balajis Mid 90s, most websites did not have photos. There were articles in major magazines about the internet where writer had mistakenly never been on internet. Was actually in AOL or Prodigy. The internet was a vague idea to most people.

@AOLSupportHelp my 75 y/o mother received an AGGRESSIVE call from AOL rep stating that despite closing her account, he’d charge her ANYTIME an email was sent to her defunct email address (hasn’t been used in years). Was that legitimate or bad day outlash? #customersupport #reddit
