@baby_itswhateva I dead *** came from AOL Free trial CDs tying up my gramma land line to wireless router and modem which supplies the crib with WiFi… crazy how **** changed in the matter of 20 years

Mick Douglas (@bettersafetynet) reported
@deviantollam There was Win2.1. and Win3.0. AFAIK, there weren't any winsock drivers (meaning no modem support) until Win3.1 But the AOL bit? That makes me think you were upgrading to Win3.1.1 which was the most popular Windows before 95.

@rebeccagund You must have never spent time in the old ******* aol chats.

Aaron (*NinjAaron) of the "Better Cyber Ninjas" (@BakingSteele) reported
@curseofthirst @charleshooper @deviantollam I never used AOL... had regular dial-up back when browsers were nascent. My dad caught on really early that this was going to be something big. We had an IBM PC Jr pretty early on.

Ultramet (@ultramet) reported
@TMobile Free International roaming used to be at least usable in Europe. Now it just sucks. Just be straight up and tell us we need to pay $5 a day or $35 per week. The free roaming now is like dialup with AOL circa 1997.

@tomangell @AOL Actually it's all about equality. Frankly, seeing this year's overdose numbers, I'm inclined to say legalize all drugs. Use the profits to create a vast network of rehab and long term care facilities. Pretending a millions of Americans a day don't use is ridiculous.

2730 Ellsworth (@2730Ellsworth) reported
I really like how theres is a big "but" at the end of the tweet. I guess hes trying to make the point that theres a lot of issues with the way things are in the west. Maybe thats why he got fired from AOL.

Kellz (@CryptoJok3r) reported
@AxieAur I think a few will be better than $Eth if these fees continue to be a issue, remember when aol got outed by many others who were faster/cheaper

@variableaus My back is never okay, but thank you. I miss AOL chatrooms. Met so many nice probably-forty-at-the-time people through it.
