  • brokenbottleboy Mic Wright 🏳️‍🌈🏴‍☠️ (@brokenbottleboy) reported from Poplar, England

When it first arrived — and I made a blog there within the first two months of its public existence — @tumblr was the near perfect blogging platform. Then AOL destroyed it. Now it’s a horrible jail where I can’t get rid of this dumb screen. Thanks @automatic.

  • YardleyShooting Mike Yardley (@YardleyShooting) reported from City of London, England

I was told by a rep ref. AOL: "it's a very old platform.." as if that was an excuse. If it doesn't work, they shouldn't take my money. @TalkTalk is a useless outfit too. I was called for months by fake Indian call centres after their data hack. My home internet sucks. @AOL @Ofcom

  • jayfreund James Freund (@jayfreund) reported from Poplar, England

@AOLSupportHelp hi there having trouble accessing my emails at the moment , I’ve tried to reset my password and it won’t allow me to , could you help?

  • xSarahSolomon Sarah Solomon (@xSarahSolomon) reported from Camberwell, England

AGREED! Every kid except me had nice shiny internet...we were stuck with that shitty AOL dialup that we were only allowed to use to play Cartoon Network games on if we were good 🥴

  • JonRichard Jonathan Richard (@JonRichard) reported from Bromley, England

@yungcontent And Bebo never sells to AOL

  • broad_thomas Tom Broad (@broad_thomas) reported from Bexleyheath, England

@AOLSupportHelp hi we have forgotten our aol@password tried to recover it but can’t, have no recovery details set up help please

  • YardleyShooting Mike Yardley (@YardleyShooting) reported from City of London, England

Utterly useless service from AOL/Yahoo/TalkTalk yet again following my complaint reference the breakdown/failure of their systems. So irritating when you pay for a service and don't get it. I was told by a rep ref. AOL: "it's a very old platform.." as if that was an excuse. @AOL

    3. I believe we need to rely on the free market to break them up as consumers see fit. Not long ago MySpace was considered a monopoly until Facebook happened. AOL, and Yahoo seemed too big to fail. Countless would be dominant companies have come and gone without the intervention

  • andrew_radin Andrew Radin (@andrew_radin) reported

@HBOMaxHelp Dear Intern, I received your email. I once was responsible for taking down all of AOL-instant-messenger (AIM), when I worked at the company. At the time AIM was the largest instant messaging system in the world. All these years later, no one remembers it happening.

  • AdamfromEarth Itsmynose (@AdamfromEarth) reported

  • AaronHorrocks Aaron Horrocks (@AaronHorrocks) reported

@GoodShibe @BillyM2k I came here to say this. The internet was mostly paying too much money to AOL to use chatrooms to argue with strangers on the internet. Most websites were terrible.
