@TalkTalk , @Yahoo and @AOL seem to have the greatest difficulty maintaining a normal service. I pay for a service which I am not getting. I am cut off from my email at the moment. Previously, I have been plagued by Indian sub continent scammers because of a data breach. #NotGood

@ChristianaJoy I dealt with some **** like that on AOL, when nobody had any idea how to handle these things online. It was pretty hairy.

  • karlrolson 💀traklystron (@karlrolson) reported

@DeaneTheFox @Foone Same! My grandpa never had an internet subscription, so working out the best (read: simplest to finesse more hours & no ads out of) free ISP, so I wasn't tying up the AOL account my parents' were using back at home was key.

  • UncTravelinMatt Uncle Traveling Matt (@UncTravelinMatt) reported

@K9NFT @CrazyChipsBSC BOOO NO TELEGRAM! TELEGRAM IS THE WORST. Thank you for the opportunity but I must decline, as telegram is like AOL Chatrooms in 1997.

  • scamminggrandpa Grandpa (@scamminggrandpa) reported

Have been on the phone with aol support for north of two hours so I can login to AIM

  • trmcdonald Tim McDonald (@trmcdonald) reported

One need only to look at @helium to realize we have profound amounts of untapped potential in wireless. The carriers have had a stranglehold on innovation. It’s like we had to live with AOL, Compuserve & Prodigy, never experiencing the Internet.

  • AlwaysThinkHow Think 1st #Fight the Virus-Vax & Mask (@AlwaysThinkHow) reported

@danpfeiffer In 2003 most folks who were online were using AOL, Yahoo and Huff Post. The big disinformation story I recall was the Swift Boat bullshit. It was a horrible gaslighting of an honorable Vet. But the selling and I do mean selling of the Iraq War is probably the biggest driver.

  • imfromthesoul gary (@imfromthesoul) reported

I survived floppy disks and dial up AOL. You can’t tell me ****.

  • garyvfoss Gary V. Foss (@garyvfoss) reported

Do you guys remember Netscape Navigator? Kazaa? Remember when AOL bought Time-Warner, then kind of faded away? Napster? GeoCities? My point is that Facebook (or Twitter) could shut down tomorrow, and by the end of the year barely anyone would remember it.

  • Ry3D_Dirigible Brandon (@Ry3D_Dirigible) reported

@Hiko Ah ****, better boot up my AOL instant messenger so I can reply 16/F/Cali

  • Mac_00015 Kevin McGarity (@Mac_00015) reported

@BrianWPicardSr1 @EBischoff Yup absolutely if @EBischoff had created a meaningless singles title it would have changed aol time Warner’s opinion that they didn’t want wrestling on their network
