@TalkTalk , @Yahoo and @AOL seem to have the greatest difficulty maintaining a normal service. I pay for a service which I am not getting. I am cut off from my email at the moment. Previously, I have been plagued by Indian sub continent scammers because of a data breach. #NotGood

@AOLSupportHelp I have an AOL app on my iPad with a load of no longer valid contact addresses. When I delete them via the on line site they do not disappear from my iPad contacts. There is no tick box on the iPad contacts to facilitate deleting them direct! Help!!

@jason_kint We’ll see. The AOL/TW history, and the recent EU action support the view that Twitter, etc. are anticompetitive oligopolies which are inconsistent with a functioning democracy.

@Dart_Adams I used to work for AOL Tech Support, during the Windows 95 era. We used to have to WRITE CUSTOM MODEM STRINGS for error correction and data compression sometimes, especially for USR 28.8 modems. Hardest job I've ever had.

@DharmaForSale 🙏 the mobile number I used to open the account with was closed. But even on new account I gave them an aol backup but they never asked.

@logic_denier that was normal september, when freshmen logged on for the first time and needed to be taught netiquette eternal september was when AOL added newsgroup support, swamping communities with unmanageable endless waves of newbies and destroyed their norms

For those keeping score, AT&T, for all its faults, is the SECOND-worst owner of Warner. AOL remains the worst. The whole company nearly collapsed because of them, and so much of it was spun off in its wake.
