It might add up to less than $50; it is a small expense. Having said that, though, you can still set up a free aol account and I have done so a couple of times when I ask publicly for responses by email. Using aol gets attention. Today’s aol email is a good free email service.

I would go into chat rooms and if someone was rude, I would enter their screen name into my prog, it would send them an IM and all they would hear is “Goodbye” and then they would be logged off for 45 minutes. I think it was called “dolphin” or something.
