@ruthm4x @AOL Did you ever hear back from anyone about this further. It really is unbelievable what has happened. What about using @gmail there service is very user friendly not sure about warning though, I thought all providers would of done this, clearly not with @YahooCare

@calligraphymmo @Volstatsz @WarcraftDevs @maelfus I’ve never understood the whole idea of “I don’t like it, so neither should you.” Sega Vs. Nintendo died out years ago with AOL chatrooms (HAHA JOKE ON MATURITY HERE) People neee to let it go and be happy that everyone can find their niche and BE HAPPY! Be a Joy Enabler.

@araseb_ Geocities and AOL Instant Messenger hands down. Really where I got started with code

  • pauly1UP
    Respectful Witness (@pauly1UP) reported

@peterpuma4 @nodqdotcom @TripleH Russo kept an audience of 3 mil. and had to deal with the lack of funding and support from AOL/TW. Meanwhile HHH has infinite funding, streaming, resources of TKO, and the show is still DYING. Russo had 3x the ratings as HHH. They said ratings didn't matter, but now empty arenas?

  • FlockCwood
Calvin (tyler loop enthusiast) (@FlockCwood) reported

Sometimes I think of the days of aol instant messenger, and how the tech would be to put up an away message and say something like “god my parents will never get me don’t text me. Don’t messsge me” Then proceed to sit there wondering why no one has texted me. Simple times

  • Valphrex
    Valphrex (@Valphrex) reported

@oldmedia I know that this is kind of dumb, but I actually miss the AOL dial-up. It was annoying, and it kept my parents from being able to call anyone, but it was a very specific time we'll never get back. I was a young teenager experiencing online freedom for the first time.

  • Shittalking_Pod
    Shittalking_Pod (@Shittalking_Pod) reported

We have been doing things on the internet since back when the internet first became a thing. We operated telnet systems for several years out of our Spare bedroom. Long before AOL even. It takes a special type of fool to think someone in Africa is going to help us grow.

  • pauly1UP
    Respectful Witness (@pauly1UP) reported

@Stewbaccaa @WrestleFeatures Millions watched those “100 horrible Russo ideas” and kept coming back. Triple H removed the chaos, has unlimited resources and corporate support, and now even hardcores say the show sucks. Russo’s garbage kept an audience despite AOL. HHH has TKO, streaming partners and is DYING

  • spartacus_safc
    SpartyPants (@spartacus_safc) reported

@Capt_Fishpaste Agreed. Why fret about stuff that may never happen? I start looking up players' stats and profiles when I see a photo of them standing outside the AOL holding up a #Sunderland scarf. #SAFC

@Magickgirl37 19. I never had an AOL address.
