@londongirluk @AOLSupportHelp I'm the same Julie. The app I'm using won't let me sign in

CompuServe when I first got online in 1995, MSN Messenger, the very occasional foray into Usenet. Tried AOL, ICQ, a few others. But never enjoyed them. Had both AIM and Yahoo Meseenger But only very rarely used them.

@danwootton Looks like AOL chat from years ago; he cannot have been that stupid … shirley?

  • Facepainting43 Lisa (@Facepainting43) reported

@AOL just so the public is aware, my saved password on both my laptop and phone no longer works. I called AOL to get help, and I still can't get in with their password. So, they tried to make me pay to speak to someone in tech to help. Feels a little scammy, AOL. #aolsucks

@2DeCee That's so impressive. How liberating! I was at AOL (Ashburn, VA) for 6 years and then started a web business. Things were up and down so, after 4 years, I decided to make it part-time, so I'm doing the 9-5 grind again.

  • anyyib Anyyi Baba (@anyyib) reported

AOL would not post my comments about Djokovic being restricted from entering the US because he did not have a Covid vaccination. I facetiously suggested that he should go to Mexico and come through our southern border, just to reflect on how stupid our government has become.

  • SomePinko Some ***** ****** (@SomePinko) reported

@Felonious_munk Buncha damn kids stealing an acronym from those of us that lived through the hell that was Dial-up and AOL.

  • annabrice Anna Brice (@annabrice) reported from Scottsdale, Arizona

@OldiesWithRudy I never had an AOL account or a MySpace account.

  • lee153622547 King Leashan I, David (லேஷான்) ð (@lee153622547) reported

When it was first released, it featured support for access to America Online's AIM network. I used AOL too.. tried to pick up chick's as a minor, .. on chat.. my route was psychology! (I was still in middle school at the time!) [so under 12!] comes with the territory, work!

  • JamesHu29812484 James Hughes (@JamesHu29812484) reported

@mato395 I'm thinking they were using Amazon or that online "Order Online & Pickup" service. But, with internet service being slow and dial-up AOL the only game in town, it must have taken forever.

  • TheRealKennySey Kenny Seymour (@TheRealKennySey) reported

@RealSatoshiNFT @JoelKatz I'm pretty sure that you spell it SatoCIA, pronounced Satoshi. Bitcoin was probably the test model developed to help usher in the digital currency age. Kinda like AOL was to the web. ETH is like Yahoo and XRP is going to prove to be the equivalent of Google. Just a theory.

  • Manclaw Mark Fitz (@Manclaw) reported

@GUNKLE2 Doesn’t it depend on which service you’re using for emails? (I use Aol still….. lol)
