Sites like YouTube and Twitter have got to realize they monopolize Communications in this country yeah we used to have AOL chat rooms and other type of chat but all that got shut down when these big platforms open and people want to want to talk you have no right to silence them

@topjob66t Curious that's all. It was once out main Internet supplier over here and almost everyone I know had a aol email account. If I remember rightly it was when we had dial-up connection, lol. Way basic compered to what we have now. Youngsters don't belive when I tell them how slow.

@GailSimone Is there a real article about this? Or is it purely made up. I can’t seem to find anything. It’s funny, but not cool that it’s arttibuted to an actual site. Comedy should never be censored, but stuff like this tips it’s hat in the direct of misinformation by claiming its from AOL

@medus4_cdc I do think there is significant potential to just look bad. I'd advise two things: Add some OBVIOUSLY retro elements like a Netscape or AOL logo. I'm not sure how to say it, but if you can do a tidy mess of Geocities. The awful retro elements, but actually laid out organized.
