Utterly useless service from AOL/Yahoo/TalkTalk yet again following my complaint reference the breakdown/failure of their systems. So irritating when you pay for a service and don't get it. I was told by a rep ref. AOL: "it's a very old platform.." as if that was an excuse. @AOL

@aolmail I’ve been attempting to retrieve my wife’s AOL password for the past 10 or more emails with your supposed email support. Its merry go round getting nowhere. Please assist.

AGREED! Every kid except me had nice shiny internet...we were stuck with that shitty AOL dialup that we were only allowed to use to play Cartoon Network games on if we were good 🥴

I was told by a rep ref. AOL: "it's a very old platform.." as if that was an excuse. If it doesn't work, they shouldn't take my money. @TalkTalk is a useless outfit too. I was called for months by fake Indian call centres after their data hack. My home internet sucks. @AOL @Ofcom

@AOL unable to sign into email for last week. No response from customer services. No one to talk to either😡😡Absolute joke. Important emails that I cannot access. AOL can you please get on to this. Beyond frustrating.

@Dustmopp31 It took me 7 yrs to get my Great Aunt (who turned 90 this year!) to cancel her AOL dial up account & switch to high speed internet last year! She kept saying, "It's fast enough for me." She never used it but kept it in case she wanted to use it! She didn't get that it useless.

I’m very interested in the psychology and the logic behind these huge, expensive things that seem like obviously bad ideas to everybody who’s not involved and indeed turn out not to fail. Like the ATT acquisition of TimeWarner. Or if even the AOL acquisition of TimeWarner.

@kylecrum @adamdavidson The Internet was absolutely not built to be decentralized, it was all read-only to begin with. It wasn't until "web2" when we got past like AOL where people were able to upload their own content. Still centralized as many services can take down your content but nobody can on BC
