@RinoaxSquall It's basically MSPaint with Nintendo approved Mario stamps from what I remember (plus the composer, obvi), but I was never patient enough to do anything with it, especially since it was released about 2 years before AOL/early internet was a thing. The UX was bad.

  • nosex_nosex nate of darkness 😈🎃👻 (@nosex_nosex) reported

grew up poor and across from a cornfield. goodness bless curiosity, the public library, video rental, weird cousins, and free aol discs taken from the newspaper racks at the grocery store.

  • ThoughtSallad Dallas Cogitari (@ThoughtSallad) reported

@gravislizard I present to you, a solution: AOL Instant Messenger and Yahoo Instant Messenger and MSN. They all had direct file sharing abilities, they all had audio message abilities, they all had voice call abilities, they all had video chat abilities. Down with Skype! Down with Discord!

  • sinisterLMN sinisterLemon 🔰🔰🔰 (@sinisterLMN) reported

@ThoughtSlime Sorry - yeah I should clarify - I definitely got that sense. AoL just came off, to me, by the end of it all, as someone who should have know far better. It was like several steps down the ‘One bad day” ladder the Joker tried to sell in ‘The Killing Joke’

  • kamelsllll Robert (@kamelsllll) reported from Tuscaloosa, Alabama

@NelsonM08327268 @AOL Idiot all the things that say have been fake stories. you been watching C-F-N to much LMAO

  • KevDGrussing Kevin D. Grüssing (Pronounced Grew-Sing) (@KevDGrussing) reported

When friggin' Breitbart chooses a better Kamala pic for their Kamala article than HuffPo, you know it's bad. HuffPo's been a joke since Ariana sold it to AOL...

  • Robbiesmom2 Robbiesmom2 (@Robbiesmom2) reported

@MarlenaRosie @dunsa12345 @Mercury150 @Hot4Adam @adamette Michelle, hot4adam, just passed away. She ran our original group on AOL, her and Cougs were very close. Terrible what happened to Denise

  • dillunhockens Dillun Hockens (@dillunhockens) reported

Didn't have internet shit like this when I was ten and using AOL. 2019 is wild, man.

  • sleumasm Mitch Samuels (@sleumasm) reported

@robwhisman more like grandma's computer with 23 AOL toolbars on IE slowing the entire thing down that you definitely installed, not her.

  • I3ecksRansom B3CKVH (@I3ecksRansom) reported

@DrewBearded There is an entire generation or more who will NEVER know.. Millions of people who will never get the AOL dial up stuck in their head, or have to flip the cassette to get to the good songs on the B-track side.
