@julcasagrande Oh man AOL diffrent chat rooms. Damn I'm getting old lmao

  • CAlipinOH 614ortyNiner (@CAlipinOH) reported

@GregMayEsq @ThisWeekGary @DanEatonBiz1st Exactly - just look to good old AOL and their Terms of Service when they were the kingpins. I ran chats back in the day and if some troll came in the room and violated the TOS by what they posted, I had the ability to suspend their chatting privileges for a prescribed time

  • DrugStud DrugElucidatingStud (@DrugStud) reported

@MollyJongFast @winklevoss I was banned from an AOL chat room in the late 90s for being a young *******. Internet content providers have been moderating public communication forums literally for the entire existence of the internet.

  • chroma_neo Chroma Virus (@chroma_neo) reported

@NormanC43960250 @MinneapolisPD During the brief time I did tech support and saves for AOL, you wouldn't get the bonus for saving accounts unless they stayed 3 months.

  • Chelsea74939383 Chelsea C (@Chelsea74939383) reported

@AOL For the past few days I've been unable to access my mail. I am therefore scrapping this crappy service and going back to gmail.

@julcasagrande Never did it. I mean I know what AOL stands for but never was on it. 😂

@slymarbo666 Nothing new, just they're bad for gaming. The world wants cross play, Sony has stood against it for years. They remind of old school apple and AOL. Instead making things all inclusive they cut themselves from the rest of the world.

@MrMichaelBates @Timcast I mostly used BBSs because CompuServe, Prodigy, AOL were all long distance calls. It was more expensive than the service (though you'd get those free month deals or whatnot).
