@theretrobyte I think I would still have been with Dungeon/FlexNet back then. Never used any of the likes of AOL, Freeserve, etc.

@anildash I can remember Microsoft trying to launch their own network to compete with the internet or so it seemed, I joined got an account then had to wait about an hour, via dialup, to cancel it, back to AOL it was for me.

Tried sending the original photo twice from the Apple device to android it did send, but both the AOL account and Gmail account never received the profile pic of myself with the peace for victory hand gesture.

@andyinotago @msonenote I just installed this and it's terrible. It's takes over 2 minutes for the thing to load. I tried a few times. It reminds me of using AOL dial up, circa 1996

@SemiCynic @MyTsla @SardonicCanuck It still kills the stock because it is an admission that it has nothing special. AOL was a dead company well before they bought Time-Warner. Once they made the offer for TW the mkt had to recognize that AOL was admitting it was in trouble b/c of broadband.

Trying to reset login password at Clearway Community Solar website, they say Check the email account associated with your user name for instructions on resetting your password. But nothing comes up in my AOL

Thinking about it, AOL is possibly the worst spelling of "owl" you could manage while still getting the idea across
