When I delete them via the on line site they do not disappear from my iPad contacts. There is no tick box on the iPad contacts to facilitate deleting them direct! Help!!

Brian O'Keefe (@rider45) reported from Great Baddow, England@anildash I can remember Microsoft trying to launch their own network to compete with the internet or so it seemed, I joined got an account then had to wait about an hour, via dialup, to cancel it, back to AOL it was for me.

Rather, they connected to a (usually local) BBS. I'm sure that some eventually signed up for an online service (like AOL) on these, but most were modems that connected directly to the phone line.

They made their money and now they can probably cast Wrestling aside and eventually sell it off for cheap once the value goes down

Burridge Les (@BurridgeLes12) reported@TalkTalk We have been with Talktalk (AOL) for over 20+ years, and to be honest, they were never the best in the business. However, since transferring over to fibre optic in 2025, it has gone from bad to worse, and we are getting out ASAP.
