Assuming they ever get where they claim to be going; in terms of the technology; right now this **** all has a strong "AOL '94, free disk inside" feel to it. But if you listen to what they're trying to create, there's no evidence whatsoever that would be good for normal ppl.

  • MichaelLaLigua MustacheMike (@MichaelLaLigua) reported

@POTUS Seen quite a few that are quite upset you didn't cancel their debt 100% AOL is one of them, sad you give a starving man a bologna sandwich and he screams at you I want a steak

@__gd88_ @AOL Sorry about that, I had the same issue with my Facebook in 2019 but I had @sapphireTechV3 help me out, he could recover her email

  • SlickAnalysis DJ (@SlickAnalysis) reported

@CP24 There is not one person under 40 who watches mainstream news. Zero. Nadda. Their time is ending. Like a landline. Like AOL. This is an old folks issue. I asked all my kids and their friends who LaFlamme was and not one could answer.

  • CaydesQueen Cayde's Queen (@CaydesQueen) reported

@Flame_Duel I disagree, and I'm old enough that I remember back in my college days people were always saying how this little company named Google would never topple the big 3 that were Yahoo!, AOL, and MSN. Yet here we are when Google now "rules the world". It's short sighted and naive.

  • CaydesQueen Cayde's Queen (@CaydesQueen) reported

@theamazingjack I already mentioned AOL in other tweets, but yes, if a competitor is to kill YT it would take years. No doubt about it. Ppl these days expect everything to be snappy, but in businesses as big as YT that's not realistic. It would never be overnight. That's shortsighted/naive.

  • AmandaMcGlow Damnit Amanda 🏳️‍🌈 (@AmandaMcGlow) reported

I told a 22 yr old that I was a teenager in the 90's and he said "Yoooo that's lit I wish I was a teen in the 90's that's cool af y'all had like grunge and metal and **** damn I'm jealous" Yeah man we had AOL and like 3 chat rooms and if you were bored you just had to be bored.
