Anyone remember AOL? At its peak, it was worth $200B, you'd be laughed out of the room if you said they would fail. Technologies shift and so do attitudes. Think about where they will head and why? When crypto goes mainstream DAGs will lead the way. $NANO $HTR $VITE

  • BaezBryantRizzo Dawn (@BaezBryantRizzo) reported

@MaybellRomero I remember when Westlaw charged per minute. The Internet almost killed them off. (AOL use to charge by the minute when they were the only place you could go.) DAMN I'm old.

  • Trick206 Trick (@Trick206) reported

@TheRealZnachki @RepNewhouse Notice how Dan never specifies the legislative bills content he's against? He just follows the memo's in his AOL account

  • arthur_affect Arthur Chu (@arthur_affect) reported

@wincenworks @ThoughtBalanced @MaintenancePod God I remember when I was in college there was this huge panic over "pro-ana and pro-mia" forums and calls for the government to get them shut down because they were killing teenagers AOL censored their slang words out of chat rooms (remember all that?)

  • KariDru Kari Dru (@KariDru) reported

@unquinnish @gochenourabout We still had typewriters; computer was a whole separate class for some reason! No hand huts, but we would get marked down for looking but not for being slow, so that worked. What REALLY improved my speed was AOL chatrooms tho.
