@benjedwards school library had a dial-up modem (probably 9600 baud) to ISP through school district. At home was local ISP as AOL/Compuserve/etc. never had local numbers for me.

@deeperama The hell are people doing with their online ident to get doxxed anyway? Lemme sign up for this service using my old AOL screen name I've been using for 20yrs and make sure I include my bday and surname and tell people where I live.
