@thejaymo That's shocking to me, because I definitely remember seeing books like this on shelves in the leadup to Y2K... it's possible you might find chapters on AOL in, like, "The Complete Idiot's Guide to Windows 95" or something like that

i tried to find an email address that wasn’t AOL but it was too late. i never found him. (and i am not looking for him, honestly, truly.) i have so many stories like this too. so many stories of it could’ve been but what would happen if…?

@Leilanni_Moore Yes. It comes from the moisture. Switch to thr Nike band which has circular holes in rows of three. That prevents the moisture and aol es the problem.

@UrbanCryptoGang @Justin_Bons Meh. I lived through dial-up AOL where the network was always down. Web2 apps/games go down frequently enough or are unaccessible for upgrades. I see Solana as the mass adoption network for normies. Outside the crypto bubble I don’t think they’d care too much about downtime.

@JPLFR80 Yeah. Mom got really mad when I tried to cancel her AOL because she was afraid she'd lose all her emails and contacts. No amount of gentle persuasion could change her mind. So I waited til she died. So there, AOL.
