around $98.7 billion dollars and it appeared to have been mostly blamed on the poor direction of not only it's then CEO Gerald Levin, but because of the slow down of AOL into the 2000's with the expansion of ISP's by companies like Verizon, AT&T..etc

Update on my #amazon issue: They STILL hasn't refunded my gift. Now they had to submit a special ticket to get the refund in another 1-2 business days. At this point it was easier to cancel AOL membership than it is to get a refund from Amazon.
