@ruthm4x @AOL Did you ever hear back from anyone about this further. It really is unbelievable what has happened. What about using @gmail there service is very user friendly not sure about warning though, I thought all providers would of done this, clearly not with @YahooCare

@actioncookbook I admit I scrolled down to see what it said for Michigan and I saw the blip about the AOL voice and had to scroll up and start again. Been laughing non-stop since. Also, I JUST commented about this on the soup post!

@gonefullcrypto Sure, right after ethereum flips btc. Predictions like this are pointless, imo. If you asked someone in 1998 if AOL would still be king in 2008, most people would have said yes. What if a third network shows up and beats out both? Hedging is better than predicting.

@korrasrevengers I mean, anyone can write ideas anywhere. If it is a convenient place to jot them down, why not? Everybody has phones. Some people like certain tools. Some people still cling to their @ AOL email addresses. It is a weird world out here. Some people record albums in Garage Band!

@clippedgcds I’m also getting a bunch of spam. They’re somehow mimicking my dad’s email but with aol instead of gmail, and I’m kind of wondering at what point I suggest to him there might be an issue with his email security

@byKatherineRoss I could never invest in a company like this ... and I tried. How long can a company in dissary last? Also FB is a fad ( few people seem to get the connection ... Prodigy, AOL, Myspace, etc) They come and go.

You know there was a time when being on a computer talking to a person you’ve never met physically was considered some weirdo ****? I know because I was called a weirdo during the AOL days. Now look at us. Socialization is a muthafucka ain’t it?

@means_tv I’d love to see you dig into Cyber Park - the whole saga of how the Atari Games Network became the project that AOL cancelled in 1998 is woefully underdocumented
