@ThisisLukeOwen @WrestleTalk_TV @OliDavis Maybe you should start all listening again because he has constantly said what mistakes is made. @AOLSupportHelp do you really need to pay for support if someone has taken over your email account and you want to get it back?

  • Tinker_Dan Tinker_Dan (@Tinker_Dan) reported

@HeinoK1 @MattStultz @amtcastle One drilled a hole in my barn. Suspect it was for nesting, but there was an ant trail nearby. They knock on the trees to get the ants to come out, right? I covered the hole, got rid of the ants, & placed an AOL CD (shiny side out). It never returned 👍😎 Old CDs = Good deterrent

@BarrettWilson6 First time called an idiot in AOL chatroom...thought...well..that's not very nice...and moved on

  • wickedcurrent1 Amy (@wickedcurrent1) reported

AOL chatrooms were the first time everyone could call someone an idiot and loser and every name in the book without being held accountable. My experience anyway. And did argue fruitlessly back in the day against "trolls'

I think I may have been into Billy Strings if he had just called himself William Apostol. I never took him seriously when he went out there with an AOL instant messenger screen name. “First name + thing I like”

  • RealCormacE Cormac (@RealCormacE) reported

@MikeIsaac @jack I worked for AOL in the mid nineties. TOS (terms of service). Let's say, you people are filthy, I saw some stuff. But then again, no more than my friend, PA to the COO of the Dublin office, who had to organize his *** parties over email for him. The 90s were a trip 🥳

  • SardonicApple45 SardonicApple45 (@SardonicApple45) reported

@horrorgeek I agree sites were terrible but when you're running AOL rates it's bound to be a reflection of how bad the Internet was rather than how bad the actual questions were. Proof of that lies with the times being a boon for horror magazines. So somebody was doing their job, right?
