@MrStevenSteele Remember!!! Twitter is a service and not a protocol so therefore it can dissappear anytime just like AOL, MySpace etc..... we created the protocol and no person or gov can killed the protocol

  • Sovereignty101 Popular Sovereignty (@Sovereignty101) reported

Cloud providers are going to need to move to a different pricing scheme eventually. The current model sucks for customers and is like moving back to per minute charge telephone model or AOL circa 1990.

@VikingXBT Btc & eth will be the AOL and yahoo of crypto in 10 years. Expensive slow outdated tech only lasts so long...

  • QTBunnyXXX Bunny🔞 (@QTBunnyXXX) reported

@PrincessArylin @maegodhavemercy AoL isn't bad, it's just different. And needlessly difficult.

  • diversetechgeek Anthony Dean (@diversetechgeek) reported

@24panels @rossmaywriter @Variety Never mind AT&T didn’t learn anything from the AOL/Time Warner fiasco from years ago (yes, some differences, I know)…

  • GreggEvans16 Devin Nunes' Cow's Lawyer (@GreggEvans16) reported

@YourDadLikedIt @rak_strong I had an arpanet login in the army to get weather information for flying. My first personal internet was a very early AOL account.

  • halduntrades Might Be (@halduntrades) reported

@DereckCoatney Problem with crypto is they require someone else to believe it’s worth more since they have no inherent worth. Blockchain is becoming pervasive and Bitcoin was an early gateway. AOL v2.

  • MegamanRA MegamanNG | Back to Work (@MegamanRA) reported

@MarioandSonic99 @RiseFallNickBck Remember the first Time Warner merger? AOL Time Warner of 2001. Majorly bad.

  • TikiRose "only thing we have to fear is fear itself" FDR (@TikiRose) reported

@rak_strong I'd pay to stay on Twitter. I've been paying for over 2 decades to be on AOL back when it first stood for "America On Line". If AOL merged with Twitter for comments on news and articles tied to emails, I'd pay. My AOL accounts have never been hacked.

  • MarkHarrisNYC Mark Harris (@MarkHarrisNYC) reported

I literally just came home to a letter from AT&T informing me that information about my Time Inc. retirement account will henceforth be sent to (wait for it) my AOL address. The history of very bad decisions made by very rich men in one page.
