Yes WCW was badly run but only when the AOL merger & Thunder were brought in on hisxwatch. he couldn't have been doing a bad job if they were winning 83 weeks in a row.

@DedWhaleson @CaptainNasdaq @ParikPatelCFA I worked in the industry for awhile and the **** I saw was ridiculous. B2B sales to AOL and hotmail accounts that had construction sites and one bedroom apartments as the mailing address were common.

Something about the twitterverse today reminded me of when my father got rid of our normal ISP (probably AOL at the time) and signed us up for a service called something like "Catholic Online." He changed all the desktop icons on the computer to, like, tiny Jesus icons.

@savithrikailash Nothing new..i have heard of such stories from putaparthi sai, Osho, isckon and now isha, aol etc.. not surprised anymore... Such places r like social media platforms.. people have fun initially.. but they get disillusioned quickly.. thats where the trouble starts
