-
GoldenP (@shitterr1x) reported@laurashin tech debt plays out different when you remember who got crushed by it before the mempool even settled Vitalik never had to watch AOL die in real time
-
PublicLikeAFrog (@PublicBogFrog) reported@raheelys Dad was given it at a conference, I think the pitch was you could scan academic cites with it? Never even saw a :c anywhere. It was like AOL keywords that need hardware more than QR codes. Tamagotchi + Monster Rancher would have been a better move.

Richie (@MeeSowCorny) reported@FearedBuck this is crazy because in a few years from now we will be explaining how the youth never used google search, similar to how we used to download music or use aol 56k modem

The Toy Investor (@thetoyinvestor) reported@FunkoPOPsNews Neopets made me who I am today. Still one of the GOAT games. There was a point where it was in the top three most visited websites daily I think? Right behind AOL and Google. They weren't afraid to actually make items limited. Now every game it seems like everyone has access to everything. I was 10 years old buying out the trading post of limited edition stamps and food items that were needed to get avatars for the message boards. I'd buy out the supply, stick them in my safety deposit box for a month or two, and then bring them back out at triple the price. Some things never change.

Awl 'D' Best (@Demoncoww) reported@goat_finals @Shr00msy Since you don't get what I'm saying, I'm saying that there are more blatant examples of what you're implying throughout Gundam. I've been building gunpla since before the internet. My first AOL screenname was a gundam reference. Get ******** out of here with your bullshit.

Intelligent Design is Science (@DNAisCode) reported@adxtyahq This is so beyond dumb. AI is NOT tokens. Do you have any idea how early we are in AI? You're talking like the tech has reached its peak and will never get better or cheaper. Did you declare the internet a bubble because you had to pay AOL $50 for two hours of dial up?
